Machine showed up on time and was in great working condition. However, make sure you don't take their word on pricing over the phone, as they have a REAL price structure on the website, which they insist you should have looked at first as a customer. Because they can't tell you in person apparently

Now to completely honest I don't believe I have ever rented anything from here personally but I have definitely worked for many contractors and landscapers here in wasaga beach over the years and all seem to use and trust this rental company above all others.

Good machine, friendly and informative over the phone, guys in the yard were efficient and friendly. Everything seemed to be going great, but when I got the wood chipper home there wound up being a couple of wear and tear issues. One was that the trailer hitch receiver broke and I couldn't take it off of my car which meant I couldn't take the machine onto the land to do all the work that I wanted to get done, the other was that deflector broke suddenly which caused a lot of fussing, a mess and ultimately I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. I tried to discuss this with a fella named Peter and that is when everything fell apart. I understand that wear and tear is part of life. I was unfortunate to have these failures occur while I was using this machine. It effected what I got done so I thought I was entitled to a discount of some type. Peter wasn't interested in listening. He was in and out like a flash saying that he would "take care of me next time". I had to ask for him to come back for an actual conversation where he was obviously angry. Immediately got in my face. I had to ask him for six feet multiple times. He blamed me for the failures of his machine, threw in a bunch of red herrings and generally acted like a spoiled brat. I probably had a fifteen minute argument with him. He told me that I wasn't entitled to a discount because I had run the machine for five hours. I rented the machine for 24 hours and I think I'm entitled to run it for as long as I need to. Because of the failure I wan't able to finish and I'll have to rent another chipper at the expense of around $250. For some reason the guy they have handling customer complaints seems to be the least capable of this task. I won't shop here again and I was appalled by this man child's behaviour. If you don't want to be blamed for the wear and tear issues that take place surely routinely at a shop like this than I would recommend renting your machinery elsewhere.
