The staff at Continential currency in the Pickering mall offers the best customer service around. Their manager Rhonda is extremely friendly and very helpful. We go there every few months when traveling and they are consistently wonderful to work with.

guarantee you 100% that the reviews indicating anything about this place having "great customer service" was written by the people who work they or their friends and family ..this is the absolute worst place to try and get service from. They have a monopoly on currency exchange because the next closest places are Oshawa and Scarborough. The agents are rude and they still have this 4 eyed freak employed there who is one of the rudest people you will ever meet in the service industry. all of my friends in Pickering feel the same way. My daughter is off on a school trip to Costa Rica and we all had to get some American money. While taking at a meeting this place came up and EVERYONE had the same bad experience , I have always had (I travel on business often) They act like they are doing YOU a favor by serving you !. If you have ever dealt with custom agents or flight attendants who KNOW they have you over a barrel - you will know what I am taking about with these absolute idiots at any given time, 2 out of 3 will be "balancing' while the line up grows. They move at two speeds, stop and slow. They have no concept of customer service first. Breaks then come into play, so if you are lucky you will get one agent out of 3 actually serving customers. If by bad luck you get some traveler who is travelling for the first time in their lives and has a million questions over a simple currency exchange prepare your self for a long wait And please don't even THINK of going past their "line starts here' , sign. They ALL seem to wait for ANYONE who crosses that line to let them have it! Watch how quickly ALL 3 or them and the 4 eyed freak come to life - all of a sudden - if you cross that line ! its a poisoned environment where anyone new who comes in, quickly follows the same way of operating. I complained once to the Manager who is great and very reasonable, but I think that she will never succeed in making this place a customer friendly place until she gets everyone of them to understand that the ONLY reason they are employed is because we have no choice right now. as soon as competition kicks in watch everyone go to where they have even average service. BTW when they once told me that "you have no chance' of getting a specific currency I was looking for , I took a chance and called the Scarborough location and was happy to hear that they had a lot of the currency I needed AND provided me and everyone else with superb friendly and quick service. I try and go there often cause the service is consistent and great. If you can, pls consider taking your business elsewhere (not the airport because that is way too expensive

No complaints about this location, staff are well trained and very professional. fast service, and great rates. If the person I'm dealing with cannot answer my questions they are always happy to find someone who can. The professionalism and ease of transactions is the reason I recommend the Pickering continental currency exchange.

I've had nothing but the kindest service here. The staff are so warm and friendly and are always willing to beat any local rate I find. Makes looking forward to travelling that much more exciting. Also really impressive how their branch manager is usually always at the front willing to talk and help out!

There is no line of sight to the teller and she quite rudely informed us that we should wait to be called...big pause...but it was ok and she could serve us. #attitude The sign clearly does not say wait to be called. We were standing in front of her to see her and it took nearly a minute to even acknowledge we were there. With the frosted window Im not even sure she would see us and we clearly wouldnt have heard her since we could barely hear her standing by the glass. Drop the attitude. If you dont think you have one you do. Will be cutting up my card after this.

Horrible service. The lady at the counter snubbed everyone and the guy at the counter informed me that they were out of Euro. However, when I went to another continental money exchange in Scarborough I was informed that they had the currency there. Apparently I was lied to. Also, never offered the loyalty membership or informed anything. Generally very very bad service
