About Columbia College
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearpaw, and Wesley First Nations. The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.

I was able to experience not only an excellent teacher and facilitator, but most importantly, a very special mentor in my journey. I have never learned concepts so well and easily until with Ritu. Her support in the learning process enabled so many positive outcomes that I am eternally thankful and grateful for. She is the definition of a passionate teacher and nurse, the reason why teachers should be teachers. Ritu is absolutely excellent and a large part of my successions today and what’s to come. Thank you Ritu, you were the best to learn from! Forever one of my favourite mentors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been attempting to ask very basic questions to the admin about credit transfer and amount of credit transfer accepted. Every time I send an email I get a response back that is the same generic information about the program I'm interested in which I have already read in the program information. It takes me responding again and asking the question for someone to reply to my original question. This has happened 3 times now and frankly it is driving me to choose a different institution that has mastered basic communication skills. The lack of communication will be your greatest downfall. Find better admin staff.
Edit: after posting this review I was contacted directly by the student services manager and was given all the information I was asking for and more. Thank you for being diligent with the feedback you are given. I have upgraded the review to 4 stars as my first interaction was very frustrating but it was made up in the end.

Ritu Sidhu is a great facilitator to have. She guided us on our practicum and provided a great atmosphere for learning. It was a great experience overall.
