I had a very pleasant experience, Manuel from the admissions department clarified all my doubts regarding the admission process for various programs offered by the school. I hope to start my process to study at LaSalle soon. Thank you very much for the attention.

As a recent graduate of this school, I am not surprised by any of the other negative reviews. In fact , they are very true. The lack of organization and professionalism from this school's administration is a joke. Once tuition has been accepted, your nothing more than another number. It's ironic how admin is quick to respond to negative reviews on Google, but as a student they take well over 2-3 weeks to answer your message/needs . As for the Hotel Management program, I am grateful that I landed a job in the industry (due to the high demand & labor shortage), but the journey throughout my studies was awful. There are teachers who never worked in a hotel giving courses, when asking certain teachers questions, they are quick to respond with attitude and say "figure it out for yourself on google" ( NADIA THERRIEN & DAISY LVC & OTHERS) * YOU WONT LEARN ANYTHING IN THEIR CLASSES , TRUST ME PLEASE* . I guess that's what $3000 per semester + $200 (annual registration fees , which makes no sense ). To future students contemplating attending this school for this specific program, PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS (THIS IS NOT A JOKE). You will waste your money and not learn much. I regret my decision of not going to the ITHQ, where I would of learned wayyyy more and payed a fraction of the price. If you are still not certain about this review or your decision, I would strongly advise you to talk with current or former graduates of Hotel Management, they will all tell you the same thing. P.S : The systems you will be working on in the computers are over 10 years old, freeze all the time, half of them do not work which LaSalle is aware of but they keep brushing it under the rug. This school only cares about their stupid Fashion Marketing program ( students walking half naked around hallways and in disturbing clothes) much more tolerated . .

i have been going back and forth with this school(Montreal campus) for about seven months now and i am fed up. this school is utterly the most unprofessional school ever, its like they have zero employees who work there because no one answers the phone when you call, no one answers the emails you send, and the admissions process is absolutely horrible because of how disorganized they are. i genuinely understand that there is a pandemic going on but other cegeps are handling it so much better than lasalle is. so what's the excuse?

I paid the admission fee and they told me to bring my documents to office. I took my documents to office and the women there right away wanted me to pay and sign the contract, but I told her to send me the documents to my email because I had to go to work. When I arrived home, the college send me the link to rate my experience that day. Thanks God they did that, because that showed me their reviews. After reading all the reviews I totally changed my mind in going to this college. I never saw such bad reviews. I rejected their offer. So much money for such a bad reputation, I don't know why they are not closed yet.

if i could give them a 0/5 stars i would. i got accepted to the college and when i realized how expensive the tuition is, i decided to cancel. you have to pay $200 to apply to this school, and $300 to cancel which is ridiculous (basically $500 down the drain for a school i didnt even attend). i called and emailed so many times for help on how to pay the cancellation fee and i never got an answer. after leaving many messages because no one ever answered the phone, i gave up. but then i got an email telling me that interest has built up and now i have to pay over $700. if i cant afford tuition what makes you think i can afford that kind of fee. worst experience ever, no one is ever available to help you and now i'm in debt when it's not even my fault

They told me my program would start on the 17th. Then when I was in school they canceled my program and told me to wait another 4 to 8 months for a program that might not appear. I messaged them many times before to see if my program was okay and they never replied. Very unorganized place. I am now without school. What was the point of signing a contract if they just cancel it? Not worth it. Also, they might be nice when your interested but as a current student they no longer care.

The college itself is really good can’t say the same for some of the teachers who discriminate against the students.. it’s kinda sad but it is what it is.. there’s bad people everywhere who are unhappy with themselves and just want to make life difficult for others to feel good for themselves.. can’t really do anything about it. If you want a bad treatment from teachers who teach complimentary courses (only by a few teachers who themselves are ironically not from Canada and do this mistreatment in granting really bad marks, barely passing grades to the ones they don’t like based on the students ethnicity) and want to be discriminated against, I strongly suggest to not take admission here. And if you: 1> Speak French, 2> Can afford it,, by all means go ahead as it’s a wonderful place with a good environment aesthetic wise as it’s not old and dusty, just with a really bad administration who will almost never help you with whatever problem (for example you want to apply for scholarship etc. you will get no help whatsoever especially if you’re an international student). We are here for you, more like we are here for your money. And it’s sad because they truly do not care for you, they just care about the cash coming in. I would give 3 stars but just because of some of the bad teachers I take off 1 star. Don’t get me wrong most of the core courses teachers are awesome if not all of the core subject teachers it’s just those useless complimentary course teachers that will make your life really hard.

I have never seen a college with communications this poor. The very first class I attended at this college, the teacher was new, they didn't know that the classroom didn't have computers, they didn't know what program that the students are taking, worse of all, THEY DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE CLASS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN ENGLISH. Next, we had problems getting our licenses for the software that we were going to use. The school didn't mention to the profs that we need to buy it ourselves. Which if I'm paying $4000 per semester, the licenses really should be provided. Teachers now. There are some really good ones, and there are ones that are SO bad that I don't know why they're teaching. I'm not going to name anyone but this teacher that I had stresses me out. If I miss something and I ask "can you repeat that", he starts making a big scene "what are you doing? why are you behind?", how are you supposed to learn when you are afraid to ask questions? After I swapped to an online program, some teachers are impossible to reach (they don't respond for weeks), and when they do corrections, you don't know what you did wrong at all. Again how are you supposed to learn when you don't know what you're doing wrong? After the first semester, I really enjoyed a particular class, so much so that I wanted to specialize in it. I went to the admission office, talked to someone about switching programs and they said no problem, it is done. Fast forward a few months, I asked "why am I still in this program when I asked to change", the student coordinator told me that they don't see any indication of me requesting a program change. ????????? That completely messed me up and made me miss 3 weeks of class. Unfortunately it is happening YET AGAIN because of my uncertainty with the program that I swapped to. Hence why I requested an admission advisor. But I get no replies from them whatsoever. I call them numerous times and nobody is ever there to pick up. WHY? I am running out of time and my classes literally start next week. Where is my help? Where's the communication that I needed? Nowhere.
