I am thrilled with the difference in my ankle after just two treatments with Dr. Coleman! I had been struggling with it for two years. I had tried two different physios for 6 weeks each, but it didn't seem to be getting better. I was becoming increasingly frustrated with it as it was getting in the way of me doing my favourite activities; horse riding, cross country skiing, and yoga. Okay.. so I started seeing Coleman for treatment about 9 months ago, I had two herniated discs that were inverted on to my spine which was causing nerve damage in my arm and neck, definitely the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. At the time that I met him I was on four different painkillers and anti-inflammatories for the injury, I also have an autoimmune disease which is a connective tissue and inflammatory disease, so I was also on four medications for that as well, in short I was a mess! So Coleman focussed solely on my neck when we first started and moved on to helping me with my autoimmune disease as well. He requested that I stopped taking all medications, I'm not going to lie I was very nervous for quite a few months of what was going to happen. My autoimmune disease is extremely painful and very very destructive to my hands and feet, for years now when winter comes around I suffered a great deal, I've been losing toenails for years when it becomes cold outside.. and I would get ulcers on the bottoms of my feet and hands, I was actually told that I was going to lose a toe at one point. Well fast forward 9 months of acupuncture... I am off all medications 100%! My neck is so much better, totally functional again, my hands and feet are better than they have been in probably 10 years, I have all my toenails and they're white and healthy not brittle. Yesterday I seen my specialist that I've been dealing with for almost 4 years now and she could not believe the results the last couple times I've seen her and yesterday she told me to tell whoever was helping me that she was very proud of them.. and she just could not believe how healthy my hands and feet we're with zero medications... just acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Coleman is amazing! He has healed my hip pain that was relentless. At the same time he treated my knees, reconstructed torn ACL. No more hip pain, no more knee pain. That stiff feeling after skiing is no more. Bonus was being able to sleep through the night! Coleman has also worked on 2 of my daughters (ages 10 & 12). My youngest wasn't able to raise her arm due to shoulder pain. One treatment and the pain was gone. My oldest was having ankle and knee pain. The first treatment definitely helped but she likely will need additional treatments as she goes through her growth spurt. Coleman has worked on so many areas of concern with great results. On December 15th I had ACL reconstruction. I met with Coleman a few weeks before and we came up with a post surgical game plan. Man am I ever glad I did! He recommended I receive treatment 2 days post op. At that time my knee was a balloon, swollen and STIFF. My body was also trying to expel the anaesthetic I had been given. Let me preface this with - I have been a patient of Coleman’s since April of 2019. Usually my treatments were for sports injury recovery or prevention. So I knew what to expect - or so I thought…. Words CANNOT describe the value of seeing Coleman as soon as he deems safely possible after surgery. My first treatment was as if I skipped forward 2 weeks in 45 minutes. I was able to bend my knee almost to 90 degrees and I was able to extend while sitting. All of that is unheard of at this point in ACL recovery.
