Like most other legitimate reviews here i have had poor experiences with coinamatic. 2 out of the 3 dryers do not heat, leaving your clothes wet after an hour. And on the dryer that does heat if you use any setting except delicate it shrinks your clothes! Landlords: avoid this company for your building Tenants: do your laundry at some place that doesn't utilize this company.

Absolutely terrible professionalism. This company has none! Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere for business. It’s literally impossible to get a hold of anybody by phone for help and filling out a maintenance request online goes unanswered. I have three machines in my building that needed service since before Christmas. I have left multiple messages by phone and multiple service requests online with no one getting back to me. I truly believe that this company needs to be called out to the Better Business Bureau.

They change the machines beginning of April in our building. Was told there just starting to process the credit on the old cards which will take another 6 to 8 weeks before we see our money back but doubled the price on our new machines. Everyone is on a fixed income in the building. Where is the dignity and customer service with Coinamatic

Awful company. I've had machines eat my money (from paying for the machine, and it not starting), my laundry detergent (it pushed my tide pod out of the machine and into the little space where the washer door is), clothes (destroyed multiple clothing items), etc; you name it, their machine has probably destroyed it. Sure, they might give you a refund (not for the things they've destroyed, mind you), but you lose so much time using their absolutely abysmal machines. Coinomatic is genuinely the worst laundry company I have ever used. I only use them because I don't have a choice; all of the machines in my building are theirs.

I had an issue with the dryer on the floor in my apartment building where it took my money, but didn't start. I called them to ask to send a technician to repair the dryer, and to refund me for the money lost on my card. I tried redeeming the code for the lost money, and the code wasn't valid because it was a digit too short. Almost a week later, the dryer isn't fixed, and I lost more money on my card. Coinmatic is terrible with customer service, and any property manager should not do business with them going forward. If I could rate them a zero star, I would.

The app is supposed to tell you if machines are available and it doesn't. There is no upkeep on the machines so they are constantly broken. The app is supposed to tell you when your washer or dryer is done and half the time that doesn't work. You try to do a load, it takes the money but the machine doesn't start so you try again and get charged twice. When you complain, they don't reimburse you. If there is any money remaining on your account when you close it because you move, they don't give your unused money back. Sometimes when you type in the machine and press next, it won't connect to the washer or dryer. Nobody answers any questions or replies to issues you have. Horrible company.

Like most poor decisions made by Toronto community housing(TCHC), their recent decision to switch to conamatic from sparkle solutions was no exception. To this date no one in our townhouse complex at 49- 25 Firvalley court(block 24) has been able to do our laundry thanks to the overcomplicated and unreliable Maytag machines which were installed at our location WEEKS ago. There is no reason to overcomplicate communal washing and drying machines by providing the option to pay by bluetooth and through a coinamatic cp app. I have tried washing my clothes using the coinamatic cp app both on an android and iphone. On my android, I get an error that says "Could not start machine Please try again". The machines also does not start when trying to use the coinamatic cp app on my iphone. My coinamatic laundry card does not work on any of the machines at Cataraqui crescent and firvalley court. Toronto community housing(TCHC) should switch back to sparkle solutions which had machines which were far more reliable and easy to use. Update 1: They have addressed the issue of the machines not starting. Now they start perfectly. One thing they should improve on the coinamaticCP app on iphone is that users should be able to see the cycle status of multiple watching and drying machines that they are using. Currently if you start a another washing machine, the previous washing machine's cycle status disappears and you only get to see the cycle status of the current washing machine that you started. Also on the app it does not show cycle status for dryer machines. I have upgraded the review from 1 star to 3 star Update 2: Multiple washer cycles and minutes remaining are now displayed on the iphone app. However dryer cycles are still not displayed.

The machine in my building held my clothing, including work uniforms I needed ASAP, hostage for over 14 hours. When I phoned, I was assured a technician would be sent out and arrive within 1-2 hours. To my dismay, no one showed up until mid-morning the next day leaving me to scramble and prepare my uniforms for work. Needless to say, I was livid because of the delay in assistance and ineptness of the call center employees. What a terrible company to deal with, their snark and lack of customer service is appalling. The only redeeming quality of my awful experience was the service technician.
