Being able to rent a pool from her as well as utilize her doula skills and photography package was amazing and made planning much easier. She always responded to my texts of worry and requests for information promptly and with lots of resources. She is incredible at balancing her photography duties and doula practices as I never noticed her taking pictures and she was there to offer help when I needed it. Her photos are beautiful and allow me to share and relive my birth experience whenever I want. She has a great toolkit of pain management ideas and was wonderful at helping my partner help me. If I decide to have another baby Shea will be my first call!

I initially had reservations about if I would be distracted or uncomfortable having a photographer there during labor but after meeting her, I felt completely comfortable and her calm presence was a welcome addition to our birth space!

She was such a wonderful calm presence, she was a stealthy ninja and a loving support. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. She was super patient while our little guy was fussy and needed a break here and there. She has quite the eye for detail and captured our daily life moments in a unique and special way. If we have a second baby in the future I would love for Shea to be there for the birth too. I would highly recommend her for any of the services she has available! I heard of Shea through many friends who she shared their birth stories with, and their special days afterwards. After I heard about her I looked through her photos on her Instagram page and set out to meet her - once I met her I knew we needed her to capture some very special moments for us when baby came along. I can’t say enough good stuff about her - she makes your experience comfortable, unique to you, and she’s very judgement free to your PP body and is just simply super sweet!

I was on the fence about birth photography for the birth of our first baby but I'm so glad that we went for it because WOW, it's so true when they say you forget most of what happens during labour and to have these memories to look back on forever is priceless.
