Coastal Cottage Vacation Rental

Ok part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but on the other hand Coastal Cottages deserves every word of good press. First impressions, nearly secret driveway - yes you get your own private gate onto the road, into a very lush and beautiful garden. Once up the steps a very cute welcoming small yard with picnic table and BBQ and then up to the main cottage. Once inside you feel the warm floor yes - in floor heating, very nice on days where the temp is in the single digits. Then the very nice welcoming setting - fruit, wine, bit of cheese, meat and crackers. Tasteful and beautiful, delightful for the eyes and delicious on the tongue. Very well laid out space, coastal décor, professionally finished and very well equipped kitchen. All the cooking pots and utensils needed for your own cooking, including a whisk, knives, spatula, electric wok, 2 different coffee systems, loads of tea choices. And then the breakfast supplies providing numerous choices for breakfast, hot and cold. Matching cutlery coordinated and complete dish sets. Jennifer is very responsive and checked in to see if we had any questions. There are loads of interesting details inside and out, keep your eyes open there are plenty of nice surprises. Did I mention the in-floor heating – its great. Washer and dryer inside the unit. Loads of very nice towels, and soaps and toiletries if you forgot something. While the cottage compound is small it is comfortable and private complete with visiting hummingbirds at the feeder. A very short walk gets you to the gumboot restaurant and Roberts creek spit. Sunshine coast living at its finest. In our books this is VRBO done well, and excellent value – the high bar, tied for first in our experience. Looking forward to returning!
