β β β β β I found the Coast Therapy physio staff to be very friendly and professional. They seem to make you feel very comfortable while there. It's nice to have someone conversing while you are being treated.

β β β β β I decided to seek out a different RMT from the one I have now because she books up so quickly. Well now I know why...
I was referred to do physio here so I thought I would take a chance and attempt to try one of the RMT's as well. I looked thouroughly through the descriptions of each one and decided to go with Jeffrey. The website said he had 8 years of experience and knew trigger point release technique which has worked for me in the past.
It was hands down the worst massage I've ever had and a waste of money. He was extremely nervous and had no idea what he was doing. He was all over the place and didn't seem to have any structured knowledge of muscles or a routine. I am extremely unimpressed and really wonder where this guy went to school. There was absolutely no trigger point release competency. I felt like I was on the episode of 'Friends' where Ross gives the old guy a massage with wooden spoons.
Won't be going here for any treatments anymore if they hire people with very little skill or knowledge. Would NOT recommend.

β β β β β I had my first physiotherapy session here and it was an extremely positive experience! Physiotherapist Nicole was very helpful in diagnosing my issue, provided exercises that I can safely do at home, and also provided a short laser/heat therapy to relieve the pain.
EDIT: Went back, but this time for an RMT massage from Matthew! I had a 60 minute session and though it was my first time receiving a treatment from him, it went very well. I told him what I do for work and for exercise, and he zoned in on relieving tension in my entire neck, back, and shoulder area. Would recommend him if you prefer an RMT with more pressure!

β β β β β I went to Coast Therapy because of a back injury. Mila was my assigned therapist and she is like an angel or miracle worker. I was in such excruciating pain when I first met with her. She suggested doing acupuncture on me, and I accepted the treatment. It made such a difference on my level of pain, that I could hardly believe it. She guided me through the process of work safe and what steps I needed to take to make the process run smooth. She showed my some stretches I could do to help me heal, and she also taped my spine into a nuetral position. I cant say enough good about Mila, and I feel very fortunate to be in her hands. Keep up your amazing work!
