★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful facility. I didn’t have the opportunity to see a game or show, but I cannot wait until I do. Tickets and passes are reasonably priced, and there’s variation in price, so families on any budget could attend. All seats in all sections have great views. There are tons and tons of food/drink/merch options, and lots of bathrooms that are quickly and easily accessible. I met a few of the staff members, and it’s clear they all take pride in the work that they do.

They do an excellent job with The Esplanade so I'm sure they will do the same with The Canalta as well ??✊

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice arena for a town of this size. Went to see a Tigers game with the family, our first, and everyone loved it. No bathroom lineups with access everywhere. Stairs aren’t as steep as most arenas which is great for kids and there is plenty of room in the seat. Great food selection and everything is reasonably priced, including alcohol.
Got some great seats for a family pass.
The parking is a little bit of a gong show and getting out at the end took longer than an oilers game but it seems the locals know all the secrets to getting out quicker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attend many shows and events here. It is a nice place. Set up to be as accessible as possible. It could use more entry/exit locations. Getting out at the end of a venue can be tragic. The rent for the concessions must be unrealistic judging by the cost of items. $6 for a $1 bag of popcorn is ridiculous. Not to mention other items sold within the building. $4.50 for a half cup of ice cream. Unreal. I know things are expensive but feel this could be cheaper since it seems to be the kids that are heavily targeted the most.
Now with COVID. There needs to be a better streamline approach to getting patrons into the events. Here in the winter having people lining up outside while the staff scans with dirty devices or technical issues is a bit much as well. This should be a scan and compare situation. Not to mention the website info does not match the actual rules (vaccine QR only vs rapid test results) and if mask are going to be mandated then it should be enforced for everyone not just those who comply. Have staff actually make the rules clear. As seated and walking around or just walking around. Make it clear. I sat next to someone who never wore it at all but pulled it out only when staff walked by. Terrible. Make it clear
