I used to come here at one back in the days more often when there were regulars (old-timers) I was was there not too long ago only when a friend of mine a musician did a LIVE outdoor performance during the pandemic and then went home. What has happened to CLUB 717? Why are the reviews so bad? We need a newsletter sent out with an explanation for those of us that -- that still keep up on CLUB 717 for many years. What you say?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A one star only because, unfortunately, this once beloved club is no longer a safe place for our LGBTQ+ community. After learning of some very distressing news of what has gone on there, and how it was handled, I will not be returning as a performer or patron until changes have been made to ensure the safety of those who walk through their doors. Club 717- you CAN do a lot better!! And I hope you do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Club 717 as a great alternative to going downtown Toronto. It's a cozy positive safe space great for socializing with friends and enjoying the entertainment. I always have a great experience when I go. The staff are friendly, the drinks are cheap and its a great way support the local community.
