★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Publicly descriminated against and humiliated by unprofessional staff that think it's okay to be rude and make judging remarks to CUSTOMERS that are shopping but decline their "help" at the moment.
I went into this store today looking for a paint shop to supply the materials and tools for an upcoming project that would bring a significant amount of business through, I was originally greeted by a professional young gentleman and was veryt impressed with his knowledge and he was very helpful without being pushy. I decided I would have a look around the store and started reading about the different paints, and after a little while I was approached by a tall female staff member that seemed to be bothered by my presence just being in the store looking at different paint choices. Suddenly she interrupts my and asks if I need "help" and I politely decline and then she keeps coming at me asking what am I looking for? At this point I'm speechless because I just declined her "help" and I'm trying to figure out how to respond to her when she blurts out loud "WELL YOU ARE JUST SKETCHY THAT'S ALL" and started to walk away. I'm completely shocked at this point and totally in disbelief how this staff was talking to a customer out loud. I managed to get a question out saying Sorry? How am I sketchy what have I done wrong to you? And her answer was literally well your just going around looking at this paint and that paint and taking a long time. Still in utter disbelief I asked How is that sketchy!! Then she said I had to leave the store and I said for what reason I have done nothing wrong. With no answer for my question she then informed me that she was calling the cops. At this point I left the store along with my future business and this terrible experience. My only mistake was not recording this unbelievable interaction on video.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really just based on customer service. Received no help, the lady at the till knew nothing, and didn’t really want to offer any solutions. I Walked out went to competitor and ended up spending $1000 in paint and supplies. Won’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trying to find all new colors for our home. We needed to be able to buy small sample paint cans to test. Cloverdale paint store stopped selling them. Had to buy a whole gallon which ended up being wasted. Highly disappointed. Took the cloverdale paint chips we liked and color matched elsewhere so I could buy sample cans. Now switched completely to a new paint store because of that. We do however like quality of cloverdale paint just not the service.
