I came in looking for a new key and left with a lot of super helpful information about the lock problem I was having. The store is a bit eclectic, because of some general disarray in the store, but this a minor point. Proprietors name, which I have forgotten now, was just super friendly and helpful. And, open Saturday!

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ ????????? ?MEGA THUMBS DOWN ? ?!!BEWARE !!? Owner Claims “NO RESPONSIBILITY” for any damage done BY HIM to any locks HE touches ??? After having two sets of keys cut at this shop that didn’t work in Our doors we decided to have the locks rekeyed to work with our keys. Upon arrival He insisted we get a whole new set of keys. He did this by using a scare tactic saying, if any old owners or tenants broke in that it wouldn’t be seen as a break in ( likely to scare my wife and make more money) so she agreed and set forth to have all of our doors totally rekeyed. Within 25 minutes He broke our electronic entry system and also left us with a useless dead bolt. As it had the “new key” AND he refused to give her the new key when she was hesitant to pay him a $50 service charge after breaking our entry system!?!? She gave him $20 for his time and was left with a useless dead bolt and hole in the door where the handle had been. Thankfully we have cameras and a security system! Or our home would have been insecure while she went to purchase a whole New entry system and dead bolt. It ended up costing us $215.00 to replace both the dead bolt and electronic entry handle. He claims to be a Specialist in locks made by Schlage. But I doubt he is a specialist in anything due to our experience. He arrived and proceeded to exclaim he couldn’t remember how dismantle the the electronic entry handle. He then proceeded to break it and claim it was a 25 year old handle .Turns our It was only 4-5 years old ( as per checking the model with the manufacturer). And the piece he said was broken was easily replaceable. (specialist haha yeah right) I was away at work and my wife had to purchase and install THE EXACT SAME lock herself and leave out home unlocked while purchasing said locks. When she returned to the store to discuss and come to a repayment agreement the owner Said “ your not getting a penny from me,a number of times, and continued to repeat that he is not responsible for any of his work??? I haven’t been in his store myself but my wife informed me that it is a total mess and looks like it hasn’t been maintained EVER. Covered in dust and clutter and looks like you stepped Back into 1980. I guess sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover ! ?BUYER BEWARE? I will now be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and am considering small claims court to settle this ! Josh

Deadbolt broke all of my locks are keyed to the same thing when I bought a another deadbolt he repeated to what I already had awesome job thank you very much

Called Clark's with a specific request (sidewinder key cutting), and though I wasn't able to be done, the gentleman was thorough in explaining and helping out anyways.

Great price and friendly/knowledgeable service = excellent value. Got 2 “Amazon” (Defiant) electric combination deadbolts re-keyed to match a 3rd and 2 extra keys. He was done quicker than I hoped with no issues. Do not hesitate to support this local business.
