City Image Signs (CIS) was formed in 2015 through the purchase of an existing signage manufacturing outlet based in Edmonton, Alberta. Since the transition of the company to CIS, the newly acquired 35-year-old sign making company revamped its operations and has grown its capabilities to satisfy a growing customer base on a national level. 

Operating out of our Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta; CIS has oriented itself to satisfy the most challenging signage projects across all of Canada. CIS has focused its development into strategic installation and professional services partnerships. These partnerships have helped propel the growth of the company, enabling us to deal with some of Canada’s larger multi-location customers, such as Pizza Hut, Fountain Tire, The Canadian Brewhouse, and many more. With a vast database of installation vendors nationally, paired with in-house permit and sign building experts, CIS is well suited to handle all aspects of every signage project, from start to finish, in any municipality across the country. 

In addition to our reputable house account customer base and vast geographic reach, City Image Signs also specializes in working closely with facility owners and developers in the execution of large scale projects involving freestanding structures, building mounted signs, and comprehensive sign packages.

Through several years of experience in managing these types of larger signage opportunities, one integral component which we can constantly attribute to the success of these projects is the emphasis that we put on pre-construction planning. Utilizing a detailed chartering process, we have the ability to learn, acknowledge, and plan around all aspects of the project so to establish the plan of execution prior to commencing any fabrication.
