About Cinema Twin
How we started…
The building we call home has a rich history and was built in 1954. At that time the cinema was not a twin but rather one large auditorium. The auditorium was not twinned until 1980. In 1988, current owner Kathy purchased the theatre and began operating Cinema Twin.
Changes over the years…
Over the years the film industry has changed and as a first run, independent cinema, Cinema Twin has changed along with it. This includes updated seating, audio technology, extensive renovations to our lobby and auditoriums, as well as upgrading to digital and 3D technology in 2009. This was a turning point in the industry and meant the unfortunate end of many cinema’s. This was the end of 35 mm film, reels, projectors, hauling canisters, splicing and cutting and the beginning of large computers, extra 3D projectors and screens, 3D glasses, and hard drives.

We pride ourselves on being a family run business and love watching other families enjoy the place we love so much.
Community Ties…
We are proud to have served our community over our 30+ years in business. Some of these contributions over the years include: local fundraisers, schools, church groups, pride week, fire prevention week, tours and the list goes on.

Our mission is to offer the opportunity to create lasting memories with one’s family and loved ones, just as we do through our love of the theatre. We sincerely thank one and all for your support and love of movies in our small town cinema over the years and look forward to serving our community for many years to come!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe they should pay their heat bill. It was very cold in the theater. Making the evening very uncomfortable to enjoy the show. This is not my only problem with this place. My mother used to buy movie passes to shows and they would not let you use them at shows the kids really wanted to see. You had to go to a show you didn't really care about or not use the pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cinema Twin has the best popcorn. The staff is always friendly and the prices are pretty decent. My kids love that we can watch 3D movies there as well. Most mainstream movies gets released on the official date as well (which is incredibly appreciated for my movie obsessed kids that keep track of all release dates)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We watched a theatrical release 3D movie for $9.00 each in this theatre. And for another $18 dollars my wife and I filled up on popcorn, pop, and 2 candy selections. This would have easily been $60+ dollars in a big city cinema. Two movies were playing at the same time and I never heard a sound from the next cinema. The theatre was clean, the staff were friendly and the sound was excellent. We loved the experience of our small city theatre and can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a decent movie going experience. The seats are comfortable, popcorn is warm and buttery, and a small but respectable snack selection. It is reasonably affordable compared to the larger cinemas. It is only a 2 theater cinema so the movie selection is limited but it's the biggest in the area. Sound is good and picture quality is good. Not the best theater I've been to but a decent experience.
