★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend did international transfer for me from Banff CIBC.
They never explained about commission fee.
So my boyfriend paid 72CAD for 200CAD.
He wouldn't send if he knew about 72dollars commission fee. I'll just wait till i go back to Canada. It was first time international transfer to him. So he just gave my info to staff and they didn't explain anything and then he got receipt. That's it. I'm so angry about this happen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've always been blown away by how good the service I had received from CIBC is. In particular the banff branch. The staff is always courteous and polite. If I have questions the staff is more than knowledgeable and they make it really easy to manage all your accounts. I recently had a little hiccup with one of my product with cibc (I have to mention here it was my fault as I did not read the contract with enough attention) but in no time it was solved and the staff was more than professional and helpfull. Simply Bravo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't believe a bank can refuse to make change for Canadian $20 bills unless you have an account with them! Why are they in business if not to handle currency? I'll never bother going to another CIBC. Never had this problem with any other bank.

Having been on the phone with other Banks today it was Beverly at the Banff CIBC who was super helpful and considerate. She was very thorough and insightful and really provided great banking service. We were impressed with her efficiency. It was a big help. Keep up the great work. Thanks again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at the counter today didn’t help me how to activate my new card at the machine. She kept saying same thing over the counter to me though I needed her actual activation on my card. Her costumer service was average need more training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lady at the counter refused to deposit my pay roll check with no hild that I've been depositing for 8yrs. Yes I've never deposited here before but its payroll and I've been with the bank for 10+ yrs. But about a month ago same cheque was deposited no hold and cash withdrawn in Canmore. And I've never banked of any sort there. Pretty sure the lady just didnt want to do her job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy Friday afternoon an only one teller working, lineup out the door. After a long wait I was refused service because I am not a CIBC banking customer. I explained that I have been doing multiple transactions at other branches in recent weeks and the teller argued with me that all the other CIBC branches were wrong to serve me. I had even been into the Canmore branch the day before with no such problems. Even though they looked up my information that was already in their system from my transactions at other branches, they would not give me change for $200. Spoke to the Manager about it and she said the same thing... not interested in serving me, not even for $5 in change. Unbelievably poor customer service. I wonder what all the other people in line thought about this unreasonable treatment. After this I walked into the well staffed, no lineup BMO down the street instead and they were happy to assist.
