My boyfriend and I come from downtown Toronto so our standards are fairly high for this but we were pleasantly surprised by how great the food tasted and the size of the portions. The takeout lasted us for 3 meals definitely got our money’s worth! Food was well packaged and we got some fortune cookies as well. The restaurant has a wide selection and the taste is very authentic. The restaurant interior was also well maintained and there were hand sanitizers upon entry. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

K	Kailee Connelly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called China house at 3p.m. was told I couldn't pick up my order until 5:10 p.m. which I fully understand they are busy and I really enjoy the food there so was willing to wait. Showed up to pay for my food 5 minutes early was told it would be brought out to me shortly. Then continued to wait for over an hour to receive the food. I completely understand being busy and backed up but over an hour and not offered any compensation what so ever not even an apology? and the woman at the front desk was down right rude when I went in and asked politely when it might be ready. Some of the dishes are good and I like to support local but will definitely make the trip to Gravenhurst next time ... it won't take as long.

About a month ago, we ordered ahead for take-out, but were missing an item when we got home. We called, and the lady on the phone said we'd get it added for free the next order. But we had to argue for it at the front desk the next time, as the owner said we weren't to receive it. Then yesterday, we ordered at 5.30pm, but were told that pick-up wouldn't be ready until 7.30. Okay, two hours seems extravagant, but fair enough. So I turned up at 7.30, and only then did they start cooking. It was 7.50pm before we received anything - so why bother telling people to show up for pick-up at a certain time? We won't be using them ever again.
