N	N Harper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the fish and chips at Chick to Sea Express are decent, the fried chicken is not great, and will leave you feeling like there's some seasoning missing from the batter. We opted for a take-out order of fish and chips and an order of chicken and chips both times. On the second visit, only the fish came with chips in the box and none were with the chicken. Not a huge deal, but for such a basic order, it just seemed careless. I was also not impressed with the soda, which tasted very off - like, did not taste like Coke even a little bit. Either the machines need cleaning, or there was cleaning solution still in the lines. I'd skip this one, folks.

Went twice & was THRILLED with the spicy chicken & curry gravy. The third time, we were not asked which chicken we wanted, we automatically got regular and it was awful! We also ordered curry gravy & got regular which was also horrible. And the fries were so so.

Unfortunately most of it was thrown out, please make the sizes of meals consistent

They make home-made tarter sauce that tastes so good Icould eat it all by itself. The staff are great, super hard working and very friendly! Oh! and they don't over use their grease, it doesn't ever have that burnt oil taste. And that makes all the difference. Huge, huge selection of items as well. YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE if you like Fish & Chips?

Delicious and crispy fish and fried oysters, a huge pile of chips and the best homemade tartar sauce!! And the best part was the super friendly service. Always happy to support a family business. Can’t wait until we are back.

I heard a few good things about this new place and decided to give them a go despite my negative feelings for the old establishment. I was very impressed. Prices are fair for Nanimo standards and they still had some budget choices too. I bought the Chicken sandwich combo for $10.50 after tax. The fries are 6 stars out of 5 and some of the best I have gotten in Nanaimo. The fries remind me of 5-Guys and they give you a bunch, good bang for the buck. The chicken sandwich was decent too. I will be back to try other items and will recommend this place to my friends. I hope the quality and value stays as Nanaimo could use another great restaurant. Don't let my photo fool you there were still half as many fries in the bag as was shown here, I grazed a few on the way home too.
B	Br Br on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A three piece, 2 legs, one thigh combo that came with a small fries, small gravy and a small pop. Upgraded 1 leg to a chicken breast for 1.25 extra. First impression was that the chicken was larger sized than anywhere else. Their chicken was some of the most succulent chicken I have had. I would prefer a more flavourful chicken.. My one piece of spicey chicken tasted to me, like it was extra spice put on. The fries were really tasty. I did not like the regular gravy at all and besides salt there was next to no flavour to it in my opinion. I only ate a little bit of it. I keep hearing about their curry gravy which I would like to try. I will be going back again and definitely want to try their fish and chips.
T	Tere Arboleda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally! We tried their menu. A short walk from Maffeo Sutton Park to Chick to Sea Express. When we arrived we asked if we could dine in. And yes we can. You only need to show you vaccine passport. They have two separate tables which can seat four. They also, have bar height tables and stools which can seat six. Food were excellent ? Everything we ordered were all delicious. There is wait times for your food but it is all worth it. Everything is served hot. From my point of view the total amount we pay for our order was a little bit expensive but again it is all worth it. Yum? Excellent customer service. Staff were so polite and approachable. Hoping to order again soon.
