Best Park in Canada

B	Barbara Kruger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although this park was acclaimed to be accessible, it is far from that. We went today with my wheelchair looking forward to an afternoon out in nature. I stead we were greeted by uneven loose stone covered paths that have a hump in the middle and slope to the edges. The Boardwalk has a step sized rise at each end that is impossible to navigate with a wheelchair, mobility scooter or stroller. We arrived in the parking lot to a large class C motorhome parked across one end with a hose hooked up to the drinking water tap and the owner standing in the roof washing his RV. Although the signs prohibit fishing, there were several people fishing and more arriving with rods in hand. So if you have an RV that you need to wash or want to go fishing in a small lake in spite of the rules against doing so, this is the place for you. After all, it isn't accessible for any with mobility challenges anyway. You can be sure, we won't be back
L	Leyla Hsy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's technically a beautiful trail with quite a few picnic tables and a big shelter which are not adjacent to the water. There's not actually water bank that you can sit up and watch the lake. There is several bridges that you pass through the water and see gooses and Lili pads. No playground for children. There is a cow barn at the entrance which is very interesting

K	Keoi “Deb” Clements on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful fall day for a picnic at the wetland. Loved watching the birds; widgeon, bald eagle, trumpeter swan, coots, merganser plus many more. I am disabled and it is wonderful to be able to park in the parking lot right beside the picnic tables right beside the wetland so you can see a lot without walking very much.
A	Andy Kettley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little park. Easy to get too big parking lot. There are two loop trails and a floating walkway to a viewing platform. We saw plenty of birds so take some binoculars. It's a bit of a drive from metro Vancouver but we'll worth it for a great few hours wildlife spotting.
M	Marta Borowska on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous wetlands area with some trails and woodpeckers! Such a nice view and there is a lot of parking. Outhouses/bathrooms available. There is a place we saw people fishing on one of the bridges. Nice walkways through the wetlands. Definitely worth a visit. Very quaint.
