All the staff have made this residence her home and she feels like they are part of her family. She able to participate in many different activities including allowing her to have a flower garden to maintain. Rosedale being one level removes the fear of falling down stairs or getting stuck in an elevator. Rosedale is bright, beautiful, inviting and has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River.

Even though my family is far away I can still talk to them and see them courtesy of the internet. It is like being in my own house but without the maintenance and with no worries. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and I like the other residents. At home I was alone, but here I can interact with others. I am very happy and comfortable here.

The things that are important to her are feeling safe and cared for, a positive, lovely environment, great food, fun activities, and kind and patient staff. Rosedale has simply surpassed all of our expectations. My brother and I have been there regularly to visit, join my mom for meals, and even for some of the activities. The staff are always so positive and wonderful. This helped to put us at ease as this was a big change in our lives too. My mom is a “foodie”. My mom loves the food, and even the presentation shows the thought and care that is put in. It’s so lovely to sit outside in the beautiful garden and enjoy the gorgeous view of the river. We hear a lot of the “bad news stories” on the news, but I think it’s so important to share the good news stories. My brother and I are so grateful and relieved to see my mom fitting right in there, with a great quality of life, and enjoying life with her new friends. All of the staff seem so dedicated and what they do is such important work. They are making a positive difference in the lives of the people who matter most to us. Thank you, Rosedale!

It was not easy and the idea for him was unbearable but somehow the transition went really well and he sincerely enjoyed his time there! The staff were so friendly and helpful to him and our family. Always nurses stopping by his room just to say hello, have a chat and check up on him. Our family felt eaze knowing he was well taken care of. When he passed, many friendly faces from the Rosedale staff came to his wake to show their respects. A very nice sense of community ❤️

They are extremely supportive and go out of their way to know the resident's family's names. Facility is clean and bright and all common areas are easily accessible with everything being on one level. The food is outstanding - balanced and healthy meals that are carefully made from scratch. Social events are entertaining for residents with a wide scope and a broad appeal - movies, bingo, exercise, faith-based services, music, excursions and more. In our experience this is a wonderful home for anyone looking to make a move into an assisted living environment.

My Grandmother lived at Rosedale in her old age (late 80's-early 90's) and we just absolutely loved visiting her here as kids and she loved it too! She loved watching us grandkids (now in our 30s) playing pool, having dinner together and just simply catching up playing cards with a beautiful view of the river. We loved Rosedale so much as a family we would bring our small white dog (hypoallergenic) to bring comfort to the elderly. Not sure if they do this anymore but the residents just loved it! We absolutely loved this play and it made us all feel good knowing my Grandmother was well taken care of by staff until her passing. I reached out to someone at Rosedale last year and had my Grade 1 class make personalized Christmas/ Holiday cards for all the residents. It was really special.❤️
