My first dealing with Champlain was very good. Their driver was both friendly and professional. My last dealing with Champlain has been nothing short of disaster. Let me explain; my contractor and I ordered cement and requested a conveyor truck for the delivery. The truck request went in on Thursday 28 May 2020 for a Friday 29May 2020 delivery between 0900 - 1000 hrs. 0915 I'm calling about my delivery and was told that they can't deliver because their trucks are broken down and won't be available until the following Monday! Well that's infuriating because they knew they couldn't deliver but neglected to contact me or my contractor prior to our expected delivery date and time!! Okay so later Friday evening Champlain contacts my contractor and promises they can deliver my concrete between 0900 - 1000 hrs today (Saturday 29 May 2020 ) So again getting ready for the concrete pour my contractor and I are conversing when we see that the time is approaching delivery of my concrete. Now it's after said start of delivery so we call Champlain yet again to find out that the concrete won't be delivered until "sometime in the afternoon"! His means I have the contractor and crew paying them to sit around for three hours or better waiting for a "sometime" delivery. I have since cancelled the concrete order or rather my contractor cancelled the order. This now puts my construction project behind schedule again thanks to Champlain!! All that both my contractor and myself got was "I'm sorry" from the employee Neal who answered the phone. This is very poor customer service. Also shifting the blame for broken down equipment to the mechanics is just a pasing the buck game. If you look after your equipment then it doesn't break down on you!! I've been in the service industry as well and the very least you do is communicate with your customers and don't leave them swinging in the breeze and give them B.S. excuses. Anyway folks that's my bad experience with Champlain. I have more concrete requirements for this project and my next one too, but you can be damn sure I'll never order from Champlain ever again. I suggest that you purchase your concrete from a more reputable company that can make on time deliveries without giving you excuses after excuses. There you have it friends my disaster experience with Champlain! BEWARE OF CHAMPLAIN!!

I dont have a complaint for the service Chanplain provides, I have used them in the past. I am somewhat annoyed that my truck got splashed by one of their trucks carrying a slurry mix. We were both stopped at the lights on weham rd turning onto mapleview. I was 10 to 12 feet behind the truck and I got splashed. I stopped what I was doing and washed my truck immediately to mitigate damages. I went to champlains yard to report what had happened and all i got was ." Shouldnt have been one of our trucks.. we had one with a half load of slurry but it shouldnt have come out of the truck" It did, and you were of no help.
