★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh soo good! The Chainsmoker Urban BBQ is a quaint and friendly BBQ stop that's worth your visit. It's hard to find a good BBQ place in Etobicoke and I am so glad this place exists!
We had Beef Ribs and Brisket and were blown away at the flavours!
The Ribs had some interesting Asian influences with the rice, green onions, egg and spicy mayo as garnish.
The Brisket was juicy, tasty, and comes with a choice of sides!
I came with 2 others and these 2 dishes filled us up perfectly!
Thanks to the team who definitely put their passion on a plate and provided a memorable experience. I am definitely good to recommend Chainsmoker Urban BBQ to my friends for my next visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb bbq! The kpop sandwich was great with plenty of meat and kimchi. The buns held up well with the wet ingredients. Kimchi fries were unique, the fries itself were delicious. I wish the water told me the sandwich comes with some fries. The menu doesn't state that, unless I missed it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by this place as an afterthought, just because we happened to be in the plaza. I'm glad we did - the food was delicious! I had the jerk 'n rice, and the chicken was nicely seasoned and tender. It came with two big pieces of chicken on a large bed of rice, with cole slaw and hot sauce. The owner, Mark, was very friendly and talkative. If you're in the area (and hungry!), I recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I came here for the first time and it was great! We had the cowboy sandwich, the double BBQ chicken and deep fried Mac & cheese… EVERYTHING was delicious. Everything was so flavourful and tasty. Marga was super kind and helpful! Highly recommend! ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have tried and tested most of the smoked beef places and my search finally ended here. Look at the pics, they don't lie. Everything was amazing, from the server, chef, atmosphere and of course taste.
Do try their brisket and fries and sandwiches. Definitely I am coming back

This location of Chainsmoker has reopened under new ownership. The decor has a rustic yet cozy feel. 5 tables seat up to 24 people in the entire space. They have a wheelchair accessible washroom, complete with a bidet type hose.
We ordered the AAA beef brisket ($24) but they were sold out by 7:30pm on the Saturday of a long weekend. We were able to score a taste of said brisket and I can totally see why it was sold out. It’s everything I look for in brisket- flavourful, smoky without being overpowering, and oh so juicy! Thankfully chef Mark was able to churn out another brisket, so we ordered that for takeout.
We enjoyed the beef short rib ($22) with a side Caesar salad at the restaurant. You can tell that a lot of care and attention are placed in every detail of the meal, including the fresh pickled cucumbers and the coleslaw with fresh dill and herbs in it. The Caesar salad topped with fried wonton crisps and shaved Parmesan was the perfect lighter complement to the short rib. The short rib was generously portioned, tender and not too fatty and was served with a delicious smoky sweet barbecue sauce.
Until February 28, 2022, they are offering 50% everything except the large platters. You need to eat here!!
