Thoroughly enjoyed working here for the day. I'm sure they are booked solid, so if you want to check it out, best get that done early.

We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding reception due to covid but Sylvia was great and allowed us to use the venue for a small ceremony following covid restrictions/guidelines and for all our wedding photos in 2020 and then still use the venue for our reception in 2021. The contract we were provided with outlined everything very clearly and there were no surprises when we were there. If we had any questions about our decorations or set up Sylvia was quick to answer and help us troubleshoot solutions. We received many compliments from our guests on the venue. The date of our reception was hot (30°) and very humid but a breeze and the fans in the barn made it very comfortable. It also rained periodically throughout the day but the covered areas out front and behind the barn provided lots of coverage from the rain.
j	jackie swiech on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter's wedding was held here the first weekend in October of 2017 - the location is stunning and the owners were adding a pond which will be beautiful for photos this year. The owner Sylvia was great to work with - she has a very detailed contract so everyone is fully aware of the rules and expectations. She had tables and chairs for ceremony and reception - the barn itself is rustic and just gorgeous - lots of lighting already throughout including gorgeous chandeliers...separate bar area, a covered front porch and on a beautiful fall night we were able to throw the large barn doors open and dancing could spill out onto the porch. The hosts provide outside cruiser tables. We had a buffet set up in a separate area and there was a small charming room that we set up as a "desert parlor" - we had a blast staging the barn with antiques and rustic elements we already had or which we picked up - although this isn't needed as the barn speaks for itself. Even had room for a photo booth. Gorgeous areas for photo ops - it is only 20 minutes north of London so we rented a school bus to shuttle guests and wedding party to two hotels in the north part of London - we found a fantastic bed and breakfast in Ailsa Craig. I can't say enough about how truly magical this location is or thank Sylvia enough for allowing us to hold this very special day here.
K	Karra McKnight on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful venue we had our wedding date during covid and after realizing our date would still be in lock down Sylvia provided us with a few options… we decided on splitting our day into 2 separate events at no extra charge which in my opinion was amazing because that meant we still were taking up 2 weekends but charged no extra ! We were able to have a amazing outdoor ceremony last year and then this weekend we just finished up our reception ! Everything went smooth everything was beautiful and I would highly recommend this venue after reading some negative reviews on here I don’t find they have reason to complain if you follow the rules you won’t have any issues and all the rules are valid as I wouldn’t want someone coming on my property and damaging something you work so hard to keep so beautiful ! Amazing days amazing place can’t wait to come back and visit!

Caterers and wedding planners will be delighted to visit and rent this fascility from the owners for their clients needs. The barn can easily house, a bar, banquet hall, mobile kitchen, and dance floor, additional outside spaces and surrounding area provides garden seating, a pond with bridge and benches provides a scenic space for strolling and rest. Smoking kiosk and additional green spaces add to the grandeur and elegance of this rustic and tasteful venue. Any couple looking to accomodate a wedding of 100-125 plus guest would be lucky if they can book and use this fabulous venue.

From the initial showing right through to the wedding day (which had to be re-scheduled due to the pandemic and Sylvia was so accommodating with this by the way) it was wonderful. The venue and property are beautiful, and there are so many lovely options for ceremony space if you need a plan B weather permitting. Sylvia’s staff were great and it was just the perfect experience, and day. There are some rules to be followed, however they are very reasonable and make sense in order to protect and preserve the barn and grounds, and keep everyone safe. Sylvia continues to make improvements to the barn and venue and it really shows how much care and pride they put into this business. I would recommend to anyone! Thanks again Sylvia, looking forward to coming back for Anniversary photos! -Kristie & Luke
