Kasim is a master teacher of Mindfulness practice. It’s a pleasure to learn with him and to gain a depth of understanding about the techniques. I highly recommend the eight week MBSR program for anyone coping with stress and anxiety.

I highly recommend the MBSR program led by Dr. Al-Mashat. It was a wonderful guide to resources and practices for a more mindful and meaningful life. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of a nurturing experience with a great facilitator and all the participants that joined in.

The online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program was a very positive experience. As an introduction or a refresher for seasoned meditators this course allows the space to explore and a community to share your experience. Will definitely be back for more.

Disclosure: My course fee was paid for by the BC Reproductive Mental Health Program. I just completed the 8-week MBSR course, and it was amazing. I thought I had understood the point of mindfulness before by using apps like Headspace, but it didn't click until now. Dr. Al-Mashat taught the goals and methods of mindfulness in a variety of ways across the eight weeks. This helped me, as some approaches didn't click, but others did. But perhaps the best part was taking the class with a group of peers. Being able to learn from their challenges as well as my own made it so much easier to connect with the goals and not feel frustrated when I struggled. Finally, I was amazed at how much I loved the all-day session. It felt like a day at the spa for my brain. I never thought I would be interested in such kind of practice, but it made me want to explore silent retreats! I strongly recommend the MBSR course to anyone who is interested in exploring mindfulness.
