There are many haters who don't understand nor accept change. These are the same folks who will put down someone (half their age) who has a dream, loves horses, great training at some of the best school in the world, and is bringing structure, cleanliness, and programs etc. Yes, you are right. If this is not something you want to have, you should complain (if you have nothing else to do). I took the time to give it a chance as I had myself some questions about the change, but quickly realized this was awesome. We compared cost with approximately 7 different schools (st Lazare area, Senneville, North Montreal etc.). This school offers the BEST price! for the proximity of the city AND its very nice facility and a very friendly and approachable staff. My daughter has learned more in the past 3 lessons than the 7 she took last year. Let all the haters move on with the old management. Shame on you to put down the business and efforts of this new and promising owner. Not sure what you have to gain from it but at the end, it reflects on you rather than the school and its patrons. We will continue to support her as she is really raising the standard in a very respectful and sensitive way. Peace and Love.

My old dressage horse is at Centre Equestre Notre Dame, and I can say that Melina and her team take extremely good care of him, and at the same time listen to my needs as an owner. I am an experience rider with more than 40 years in the horse world so I am quite comfortable with my comment ! Melina is positive, always smiling and love horses. She is starting her business with an open mind and the will to always improve which are great qualities for a young entrepreneur.

My daughter has been taken lessons since the fall. The owners take great care of the stalls. It’s clean and they are always on site. It’s a very friendly approach. We feel welcomed and they take time with the kids. There are many changes happenings but I believe I. The right direction

If I could put 0 stars trust me I would! The owner of this barn is insane! She has no idea what she is doing. She doesn’t feed her horses and does not care for her horses. She’s letting them freeze with no blanket in the barn when they leave the doors open in the middle of winter. They have 5 school horses . One of them shouldn’t be ridden the vet clearly told her he couldn’t jump and she is still making young’s kids ride him. The other horses need injections but the owner does not believe in those. Therefore these horses are lame and should not be ridden but she makes them work for 5 hours per day. She barely feeds her horses and never let them go outside. They are stuck inside and get no care what so ever. On top of all this the owners have no money. She can’t pay vets or farriers. The horses are in very poor conditions. The prices are way too high for no good reason. The coaching is disgusting! She is putting her kids lives on the line by making them ride horses that should not be ridden. She body shames her students. Please do not go to this barn find a barn that will be nice to you and your kids and will take time to teach you. Her prices are way to high she’s only looking for money because she has nothing left and will need to go bankrupt. Please don’t go there she does not refund any money and will ignore you. She’s very childish and should go back to France to try and save her reputation.

The owner blames everything on the old owner when in reality when the old owner was there there was a waiting list to take lessons there and to board your horse. Now there is so many empty stalls and only beginners riding there. This is not a coincidence. Horses are being treated like machines, over used and under cared for. All the horses bite because they are so miserable. Owner is very money hungry, charges an insane amount of money for private lessons and group lesson are not safe for kids who have never ridden before. Yes the owner is a talented rider as seen in all the posts but that does not mean she understands how to run a business and care for animals. This barn is pure chaos. Save your money and ride at a barn with coaches that are teaching students of all levels and understand how the industry works here in Quebec.

Wish I could give them 0 stars.... VERY disappointing in every aspect. New owner is EXTREMELY disrespectful and immature. My horse NEVER knew when it was getting fed, the feed was 1/4 of a flake of hay, NEVER had shavings in its stall was standing directly on the mat. I requested to speak with the owner when I noticed the care of my horse going downhill, the owner REFUSED not only to speak to me in English but refused to speak to me at all. We had to schedule an "appointment" in order to speak with her. No appointment was ever confirmed or scheduled, in fact I was told if I didn't believe her values I could leave. When I gave notice I was going to leave because the facilities became unsafe, the electric fencing was not put on properly, I shocked myself, the gates to the paddocks were never closed properly, my horse was being starved the owner gave me an EXTREMELY hard time leaving and also decided to not talk to me or care for my horse at all within the last week I was there. She also got upset/ mad at her staff when they would speak to me or do the minimum to care for my horse. Ultimately I had to move my departure date to ensure the safety and well being of my horse. We were also not allowed to use our own coaches and she forced us into buying programs with the "coaches" on her team, which many of them including herself are not certified and had never given lessons. Arenas were packed with 2-3 lessons at a time making it an unsafe and dangerous environment. Lesson horses were overused and being worked an excessive amount of times per day. Lots of injuries to the horses and lack of care by the owner makes this an EXTREMELY unsafe environment, not only for horses but for students as well. The new owner has successfully managed to empty out the barn with her attitude and lack of care but somehow blames it on everyone else. My wish for them is to take some accountability and assume some reality so the safety of the horses and their students will no longer be compromised.

My daughter has been riding at this centre since last Spring and loves the changes the new owner has done. The centre now offers organized classes based on your goals as a rider. The instructors are amazing and teach not only jumping but overall horse care and technics to improve my daughters ridding abilities. As a consequence she feels more confident. The facility itself it great, large indoor and outdoor arenas and the paddocks and stable are always kept clean. I highly recommend this centre.

I would highly recommend this riding center. My daughter likes the approach of the techniques that are taught. I like how they have organized structured classes with goals in mind. The owner is very involved with the teaching. Not only does she do a great job in teaching (fun exercises) she has a good hands on approach in showing how to care for the horses. The facilities are very clean and well kept. It has been a positive experience for my daughter.
