Open 24 hours. Great staff and price is typically cheaper than most places nearby.

Usually the first to drop their price and last to raise it. Wednesday and Saturdays are .02 a liter cheaper. No washroom though.

This store is way over priced just like the other stores in Red Deer staff was friendly

Customer service is fantastic here. The guy working is a great person and super friendly. He deserves a raise, as it makes Penhold a better place just by existing. This is place has the small town hospitality they show in the movies. The hot chocolate is pretty decent too.

I've lived in Penhold my entire life, I've been spending my money at the centex that entire time. Out of all the gas stations in town, I exclusively go to this one to fuel up, and usually when I go inside to pay I'm met with a smiling face who is happy to ring me up my usual 20$ of regular fuel and I go outside and pump it into my car. But the assistant manager, the one with the beard, lately has been giving me a hard time for doing so. Now it's currently very cold outside and we are in the middle of a global pandemic, so I especially appreciate the ability to step inside with my mask on, and tap my card to pay for my fuel, but this employee first just told me to go outside and pump, so I did so, everyone has bad days and I thought he might just be having one, but now he has done it multiple times, this is very rude, I am a paying customer and always have been, I'm loyal to the gas station and bring my business there exclusively, and in return i expect the ability to pay inside for my fuel. I've now expressed to him the reasons I don't like to pay outside at the pump (the machine is slow, it's -28c, everyone touched the buttons without sanatizing, and frankly I like my routine I've established.) And if he continues I will have to take my business elsewhere, I personally know many of the employees past and present and I've asked how hard it is to ring me in my fuel (it isn't hard at all). If anyone else has experienced this don't let him make you pay outside, the option is there for a reason. I am disappointed to say the least. I still gave 3 stars because all of the other employees are happy to ring me in my fuel.

Try to fill up here as much as possible to support local. Pumps sometimes have issues. Mentioned it to the clerk inside, that the buttons on the screen don’t register, and I needed a receipt. With met with attitude and annoyance. What a turn off. Will not be returning.
