★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public boat launch, the park is closed, covid. You can park at the launch, or on the street and go for a walk. Only negative is the litter and the occasional fish corpse on the ground

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good access from the highway, vermillion river has good fishing especially like pike. The watter is too high and violent for swimming for much of July calming down in August

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here for one night, and we loved it! The woman in the office was really friendly. Our (tent) campsite was right next to the river, with two small waterfalls in view. There is a small beach where you can swim; the shore is sand, but there are rocks not too far in, so consider water shoes. There's a snack shack with novelty ice cream and a few hot items like fries, etc. There are two washrooms with running, hot water; one has showers. The only real downside was getting chewed by mosquitoes in the late evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet, peaceful little park with a nice little beach. Clean bathrooms with great water pressure. People running the park are awesome and very helpful.
