When we first came to Cellar52, we had planned 3 different weddings, which thanks to Covid, bankruptcies, etc, never came to fruition. So feeling a little broken and bruised, we met with Kristi and everything changed. Within a few minutes of meeting her and touring the venue, her positive energy started making us really excited again about our wedding and was such a breath of fresh air!!  She and the rest of the team at C52 were incredibly accommodating and truly wanted to do everything in their power to make our day as special as it could be. I can't even count the amount of times they had to help us pivot with the ever changing government restrictions, all while never losing their positive attitude. Even when my husband's car broke down on the way to the ceremony (one final obstacle!!), Kristi offered to come pick him up to help him get to the venue on time. Talk about going above and beyond!These gals are the best of the best and will work tirelessly to make your dream wedding come to life!! We can't thank you enough ladies :)

We couldn’t have asked for better people to help bend/pivot throughout this process and we know how difficult this has been for you as a business. The grace and poise you were able to hold up during the crazy lockdowns gave us comfort and we both could see how much you guys care about your couples & us. All of our needs were met and the attention to detail was exceptional. You made our day of love possible when it seemed impossible and we truly had such an amazing experience and we have YOU to thank for it. I can't say enough positive things about this venue and the Cellar 52 team! My husband and I recently got married here and everything about our experience was amazing. We received great customer service from our very first emails, our virtual tour during a lockdown, take-home tasting when indoor dining wasn't permitted and coordination meetings and support before our wedding. Our wedding day came together perfectly and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of thanks to Emily and the coordination team! There were beautiful photo opportunities throughout the venue for our winter wedding. We were so happy with the cozy, minimalist feel throughout the venue and were able to add some of our own vision through florals and details to compliment what was already there. The food provided by Gilt was SO good and it was one of the big things our guests talked about afterwards. We used many of their preferred vendors and all in all had an amazing experience planning and enjoying our wedding at Cellar 52! Highly recommend!

If you are a bride/groom with a vision for the aesthetic and flow of your wedding day you can trust that the ladies at Cellar 52 will make it happen. From our very first visit Steph, Trella, and Kristi made us feel special, loved, and understood. When you plan a wedding you will inevitably have moments of anxiety to full blown panic attacks - let me tell you, every time I talked with the ladies at Cellar 52 I not only felt extremely calm, but also a renewed sense of excitement for our day! On the day of the wedding the staff worked tirelessly to make sure that everything went perfectly. They even pivoted last minute when the weather forecast changed from 80% rain to clear skies and transported our very heavy trellis down to the river so we could have our dream ceremony (talk about going above and beyond)! Don't undervalue the space upstairs for getting ready! Our groomsmen got ready elsewhere so the bridal party and mothers had the whole upstairs to get ready and have lunch in and it made the morning super relaxing. We got SO many compliments on the food and drink from the wedding. I was going to list all of the things that we got multiple compliments on but that ended up being our entire menu! But a few highlights were definitely the margaritas, chicken and waffle hors d'oeuvres, and the late night pizza. If you've read this far in the review hopefully you're sold :) Thank you Cellar 52 for making our wedding dreams come true!

I didn’t really do much but my now wife did all the planning and they guaranteed two things food that is much better than regular wedding food and a stress free environment for the bride. As someone that loves cooking and really nit picks about how to get that perfect balance of flavour and texture they absolutely lived up to and even exceeded expectations on that front. I had mentioned in passing to one of the servers before the cocktail hour that I really loved the onion appetizers and when we came back to sit for dinner they actually had a plate of appetizers for us to eat! I don’t know if this was something they did normally but I was so happy to have that small detail addressed perfectly. Regarding the stress free environment for the bride. I had asked the photographer, our coordinator, and the brides mom how the bride was doing before the ceremony and each time I had received the same type of answer. She was doing great, looking great, and feeling great! This was all I needed to hear to have a perfect wedding. I wish I could give them 6 stars but I’m not allowed so here I am giving my glowing review of this location.

This venue knows how to throw a party. From the gorgeous interior that matches any choice of décor, to the upstairs suites that make getting ready as stress-free as possible, everything about this venue made our day everything we could have asked for. The food was wonderful, dessert spectacular, and they were able to cater to any dietary restriction we threw at them - and we mean anything. The overwhelming feedback from our guests was that the venue was beautiful, the staff were lovely, and everything went off without a hitch. Kirsten (aka day-of coordinator extraordinaire) was a rock star! In no uncertain terms, our wedding would not have gone smoothly, and we would have been stressed throughout every moment if not for her. No detail was too small, and she made each step of the preparation and the day of the wedding effortless. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us through the process. She definitely earned that A+.

Cellar 52 is the perfect venue if you’re looking for a cozy and intimate place to say I do! Team 52 are attentive, knowledgeable, and caring people and we always felt like we were in good hands. They accommodated our requests and helped us craft a wedding day more perfect than we imagined. Located in the heart of the village of St. Jacobs, we had a plethora of beautiful backdrops to choose from for photos. The venue is unique in that you have the option to stay the night before and/or after the wedding upstairs at Hotel 52. The morning of, the bride and groom suites were the perfect place for the wedding party to get ready while the team did a fantastic job setting up the main space for the ceremony. Team 52 flawlessly converted the ceremony space for cocktail hour without disruption. And if you’re looking for a romantic spot for your first dance, we highly recommended the back patio- the string lights really set the mood! At the end of the night we were so impressed that all of our decor was packed up, making it easy to take home. We can’t say enough about the food, and neither can our guests! Gilt Catering did an outstanding job on our menu: from our morning brunch spread to our late-night pizza, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is no easy task, but the team at Cellar 52 made us feel confident and taken care of. Our day of coordinator (Emily) was such a gem- she really put our nerves at ease and we can’t thank her enough for ensuring everything went smoothly. Thank you so much Cellar 52!
