Honestly, the parking lot is fine. I have a problem with the company, and the attendants that they employ. Let me tell you a story of an error that probably happens more often than not at this lot. You see, this lot has a city parking lot directly connected to it. And the pay meters are close together, and relatively poorly identified. My sister is here from out of town. She and my niece were meeting me at the beach, driving my car and I was walking. My sister noticed the parking attendant in the lot at the time she parked, but we were prepared to pay in any event. My sister purchased her parking and walked away from the vehicle, leaving the slip on the dash as required. On returning to the vehicle, we had a parking notice, which indicated that the parking ticket we purchased was for the wrong lot. My poor sister, who is not from here, purchased time from the city lot, which again, I see being a common mistake. The ticket is a $52.50 ticket. For a few hours of parking. The attendant WATCHED MY SISTER PAY THE WRONG METER and wrote this $52.50 parking notice not 5 minutes after she walked away from the vehicle. If this isn't sharp business practice, and totally deplorable, I don't know what is. The best part? There is no information as to how to dispute the ticket, and if it isn't paid within 7 days of issue, the ticket cost rises to $73.50. So, being that I do want to dispute this ticket (please understand, I would be happy to pay a lesser charge, but $52.50 for a few hours of parking is RIDICULOUS, considering their daily max is likely not more than $20.00 for this lot), I went to the website for the company. You are not able to dispute the notices online. There is absolutely no information provided to those of us who disagree with this practice of leaving absolutely inflated tickets for people who clearly made an error. Long rant, but people need to be aware that the lot monitors for this lot are not happy humans, and will not try to help you in any way. I will continue to attempt to dispute the notice, but do not have high hopes for a good resolution from a company that supports this type of behavior.
