CCdesign Partnerships is a boutique, Calgary based, interior design studio established in 2016 by Carlina Chan. We specialize in bespoke contemporary residential and commercial interior design that brings together function and style. Whether it is for a home or workplace, “your space” should be beautiful, practical, comfortable and a perfect fit.

Carlina’s Design Philosophy

Carlina’s core belief is that good design is about enhancing purpose and functionality rather than just applying a veneer to improve the look. Interior space is about human space and how we interact with it. Therefore ergonomics, behaviours and habits must be an integral part of the design.

What Carlina Brings to Your Project

She is a graduate of the Mount Royal University Bachelor of Applied Interior Design Program. Prior to establishing CCdesign Partnerships, she honed her skills as an interior designer in prominent architectural firms in Calgary, working on both commercial and residential interior projects.

In addition, she is a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) accredited professional and a graphic designer with a Visual Communication degree from the University of Alberta.

Carlina is a multi-faceted designer that brings a well-rounded set of skills and a considered approach to any project.

Carlina spent the time to find out about our needs, wants, and kept in mind our plans to remain in the home indefinitely. She took an older 2 1/2 storey home with 3 small bedrooms, minimal functional storage, low ceilings, dark rooms and created a very attractive, modern high ceiling, bright, 2 bedroom home with bountiful creative storage areas, inviting kitchen and functional areas! She gave us thoughtful, detailed and visual plans to help us see what we were going to get, which allowed us to see where certain areas could be tweaked to suit us even more. We were impressed with her plans to transform our home to include more functional space, increased storage, beautiful bathrooms and brightening the home with her detailed lighting designs that included both natural and artificial sources. As my husband and I lack in the creative department, she was fantastic at helping us co-ordinate eye catching tiles, colours for the walls, baseboards, woodwork, countertops, right down to the attractive chrome door pulls! We were thrilled as we had all the perks of a new home without having to move. We highly recommend Carlina to help you tackle the enormous task of doing a renovation right and achieving the change you will love!

In this market, where it is very hard to find a contractor, she came through for us. She provided us with great suggestions for flooring, bathroom and kitchen accessories, cabinetry and paint colors. All the selections provided matched well together to update the condo to reflect today's home trends. She set up appointments with the vendors and contractors to get things expedited in a timely manner. She was a great help when we had a problem with our countertop supplier. Her tenacity helped push for a better product install and customer satisfaction. Her connections to different vendors was helpful in our decision process for selecting new cabinetry, flooring and countertops.
