I called in. quick customer service. Grading takes time. they have only estimated times. covid doesn't help. Hopefully these companies get faster even with standard payment.

It’s been over a year and am still waiting , you even stopped replying to my orders . I sent several email to Steve but ignored . Please return my 100 plus books if you can’t do it .

So I submitted some comics over 11 weeks ago and so far I have yet to even see that they have been received despite delivery confirmation on May 5 from Canada Post. Any attempt to contact via phone, email, IG, facebook has been utterly pointless. I was very excited to give some business to CBCS as they had opened a Canadian office. At this point I can't get back to CGC fast enough. I would love to change my review, hopefully I hear from someone eventually. **** so just a little update, I am not at 14 weeks since my comics were received. I still have no response from any of my calls, emails or IG messages. My comics still at 14 weeks do not even show they have been received. Stick with CGC people, CBCS has some serious work to do.**** week 16 now, customer service has said they will look into it, emails forwarded by Stacey blah blah blah and still no one will get back to me about my comics delivered 16 weeks ago that still have not even been confirmed as received four flipping months later.

They added wrong shipping address to my item. They have been giving me the run around have not compensate for loosing the slab. They only want your money. Bad service.

Called on the phone as I live about an hour away and thought I could just take submissions there to drop off to save money. This was one of the things that had me leaning to CBCS from CGC. They do NOT do this. Not sure what they do or if you can go in this place but you can not drop off books. Also the person on the phone told me that it would be faster just to send right to Texas rather than Oakville!! So I"m left wondering what they do at this place? Must just be a receiving area?

Sent books to CBCS Canada in April and they were confirmed delivered in April by Canada Post. It's now July 16th and no one has any idea where hundreds of dollars in comics are. Not one customer service person can track down if it's been received, I just have to take it on faith that the books are there and that no one can help me. Was given the phone number for some guy named Steve, who doesn't answer his phone and whose voicemail is full. Called and asked to add fast pass, etc. to speed things up, which apparently does nothing and will simply cost me an extra $100. Meanwhile, people who have sent their books in months after me are getting them back already. Of course, no one is willing to offer anything for poor customer service and zero communication. Called again today and asked to speak with a representative and was told that they will call me back on Monday, because literally everyone is in training, even though the guy I spoke with actually looked up my account and discussed my issue with me on the phone not 15 minutes earlier. So instead of trying to help me, he pretended to NOT be a customer service rep and said someone will call me next week. Luckily I'm only spending hundreds of dollars on this service, otherwise it'd be unacceptable, right? UPDATE: After around 4 months my books went to the Pressing area on Sept 3rd. It is now Oct 31st and they haven't moved. This is after I called several months ago and asked to manually add expedited service to my order, which apparently didn't happen because they don't show at that tier and they aren't being processed. CBCS stopped answering my emails asking where my books were several months ago, so over 6 months after shipping my books I still have no idea when I will get them back. Meanwhile people on YouTube are getting their books back within a week. I hope someone replies to this review to help me, but my experience so far tells me they won't. UPDATE: Nov 19th. My books have been sitting in ShipToCanada status for 3 weeks with no sign of them actually having left the US and none of my grades are entered, so it's possible they're not even graded and were just set to that status to make it seem like something is actually happening. Meanwhile, YouTubers have gotten their books back in 13 days from start to finish and CGC has caught up on their entire backlog. I get that people paid for higher tiers, but a book that was submitted in April should take precedence over books at a higher tier sent in 6 months later. This is totally sending me to the competition and not one soul at CBCS is doing anything about it.

DO NOT SEND YOUR BOOKS TO CBCS. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! Sent books in Feb 2021 and finally returned Mar 2022. Moved last year and called customer service to confirm my address change, even though my invoice showed the old address. Rep said 'of course they will go to the new address on file'...guess what??? THEY DIDN'T!!! Thousands of dollars worth of books went to my old address, THANKFULLY the FedEx guy called me and redirected my pkg to the new address. I have since called customer service to pull my other books and of course no one has called me back...they now switched to automated response. Probably because their customer service reps are not trained and make up their own rules & definitions. Honestly, do not waste your time with this joke of a company. Spend the extra and go with CGC. Never had issues with CGC. Would definitely given this 0 stars, but they force you to put at least 1...
