★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water is clear and cool; great for swimming. There are several spots where fishing lures will get snagged to the point of having to cut fishing lines or go diving for your lure. The current is strong under the bridge. It is possible to catch rainbow trout, bass, pike and pickerel here but unless you go fishing very early your chances aren't that great to catch anything at all. There are many round goby fish in the water, so if you catch them they need to be disposed of rather than thrown back in. Not my favourite place to fish.
