CARSTAR Calgary Bowness

Really nice people, really good service! Stephen and Chris were total pros. It sucks to need to see them, but they'll be my first choice if I ever need repairs again.

I used Carstar Bowness location for my insurance claim but I was not impressed. They seem very professional and courteous which meets with customer service standards. However, when it was time to pick up my vehicle, they turned 180. Upon visual inspection after receiving the vehicle, I saw what seem to be a defect from fixing the rear bumper. When I went back into the office and pointed the defect, the staff member said "it looks normal and okay to me and we don't have any available technician to look into the problem " and he didn't say but he gave me a look where he was saying "The bumper looks fine." at this point I felt bad for bringing it up because he seemed to be irritated with me bringing up the subject. I made a point to bring him out to show it to him because he wasn't going to come out with me until I asked him second time around. After visual inspection, he was still convinced that it is a NOT a defect from installation and that is how it is supposed to look. (trying to avoid the situation at hand) Then, I "GOOGLED" the defect part and showed him where the defect was with parts needed to install properly and finally he called the "BUSY" technician who was not available 10 minutes ago to take the vehicle in to their shop again. After 5 minutes, they came out with my vehicle to apologize and to tell me they fixed the defect. ALSO, the battery was disconnected during repair which is normal but they installed my battery improperly, and my car turned off its ignition while I was driving at 60km/hour on McCleod. Which was very dangerous at the time. The vehicle also shakes like crazy above 100km/hr after my visit here and of course they won't admit to the problem. I would never visit another Carstar anywhere in the Country

Steve and his team at Carstar's in Bowness have provided me with exceptional service for two of my company vehicles. They provided me with the best quotes out of 3 shops that I was considering, they stayed on budget and informed me of the process along the way. They were able to get me in fairly quickly, and delievered my vehicles on time. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for great service, great pricing, and having a great customer service experince. Thanks.

I was in a MVA in December and had to get my car fixed. The tailgate was back ordered for months, but that didn’t stop the awesome team at CarStar Bowness from consistently checking in and giving me updates as they got them. Chris and Steve have went above and beyond to help me out during the whole process. I finally have my car completely fixed and it looks amazing! These guys have a great system and know how to make sure customers feel like they are heard and welcomed. Always friendly and kind. Car star Bowness provided amazing customer service while I was dealing with auto body repair for my Subaru. They were always on top of repair times and provided consistent updates if anything changed. Chris was a huge help every time I called into the shop to ask questions.

This was the second time I used Car Starr Bowness. Chris and Steve and All the work done on my car was excellent. They were patient with my strange hours of arrival and departure, they also cleaned the inside of my car perfectly both times. Ypu can't tell anything was ever done to my paint job. Its bright red and super shiny , very impressed. They know exactly what needs to be done and explain it all. Very professional.
