Worsts place ever. In fact, because of them, I even considered quitting camping. The are a lot a seasonnal/permanent residents there and when the sun comes down, one group of resident gathered until 2:30 in the morning drunk, laughing, screaming, singing, etc. Please dont go there, provincials parks around there is the place to go for a quiet time

On the positive side the guy at registration was friendly and it has access to the lake. On the negative side, park is not being maintained. Roads are deeply potholed, no proper drainage, they severly need grading and crushed gravel as do the sites themsleves. It was a mud hole several days after even a light rain. Sites are narrow and gramped together. septic for each neighbout site is about 6-8 ft from where your rv door will be, garbage and junk everywhere, grass not mowed, the permanent sites in the park look like a slum. Nill pride of ownership. RV campground next door not rated overly well but is a much better stay by comparison.

This was our second stay at Carole's Campsite. The location is great. It is just outside of Sudbury. As for the campground itself, it seems to be a mix of seasonal campers and people just passing through. The sites are tight but you have full hookups (hydro, water, sewer). The sites are level and big enough to accomodate large RVs. There is a little playground and beach area. The washroom/shower facilities are closed due to COVID. I don't think there are any bike trails nearby and cannot comment on the fishing in the area as I never tried. If you are looking for a campground close to Sudbury shopping, medical facilities and whatnot, I recommend Carol's Campsite.

Had a great 23day stay for our work trip. No service/utilities issues at all... the weather wasnt the greatest and covid put a damper on things to do around Sudbury but the campground was exactly as advertised and they have no control over weather and pandemics :) we'll be back in the spring for the next shutdown!

Excellent campground to be at. I've been camping for min 10 years. Being in the RV industry, I've seen many campgrounds and have been to a few provincial parks. Carol's campsite is one of the best hands down. Owners/staff are very friendly and greeting. Campsites offer all amenities. Mixed with seasonal and transient campers. Laundry facility on site. Situated on Richard lake were you can go paddle boat, canoe, fish. Easy rentals for the paddle boats and canoe's. Nice beach to go swimming. Close to all major stores Sudbury has to offer. All around a great place to visit whether it be for a night or a month. My kids never want to leave. Thank you Carol's Campsite. You will be seeing more of us!!! Can't wait to return in the spring 2022. Cheers!

Not much privacy, trailers parked in there pretty tight... could hear the next campsites conversations around the camp for inside my rv. Good setup with the sewer, water, and power though. Able to empty all black and gray water without any issues, and keep open during the stay. Just a little crowded for our liking.

We loved camping here, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The manager Ben went above and beyond to Make sure we had everything we needed. We booked for 9 days and ended up staying 12, because we enjoyed ourselves. The seasonal campers were welcoming and invited us to their campsite. Looking forward to going back next summer. See you soon Ben, look out your Pocahontas Harley riding girl will be back!

Great place to camp out with the kiddos. There's a beach area with tons of outdoor toys, dock, small park and laundry with indoor shared bathrooms. Great little place.
