★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really helpful if you are polite and patient with the staff, and get ready to wait an hour or two in line outside before you get any services. I've had good results with them, thanks to a worker that really went out of his way to get me what I needed.

prejudice and when you go there simply stand your ground and be honest and
you will be helped with as rapid response as possible. Remember, working class folks who are drowning at or below the poverty line have a right to stand and be served at this place.. The site and staff are outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only discovered this place today and it is already clear to me these guys save lives.
Go early! Lots of lives are in need of saving lately so they're busy bees regardless of when you show up. I had to wait in a fairly long line, but it was absolutely worth it. I can't wait to volunteer here and become part of the solution in the DTES. They provide assistance with getting housing, food, employment, ID, counseling, and veterinary care among other things. I'm shocked that such a place even exists. Long live Carnegie, whoever that is.
