J	Joanna Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shortly after I started attending the "My Second Home" day program I stopped going few months ago. I felt as a non Italian I was discriminated against by the program coordinator, Ms. Vanessa Giannini, who was often loud and rude.

Long story short, I'm back to my old self. My work, my relationships and most importantly my recovery is right, I don't see how any other place could allow someone to recover so we'll, thank you

I passed 13 years clean last may ONLY because this treatment program .I had done plenty of "cost effective" programs with NO success after 7 horrible years as an addict . Only the hard physical work, humbelling jobs, and help from counsellors who had been were I was cured me and made me a better person . Today I am a kind, hard working, successful, and contributing member of society ONLY because of what I learned in my 10 months in this program. If anyone suffers from addiction this is the best most meaningful path to recovery you could find!!! Thank you for saving my life and giving it meaning!!

There is a saying I learned during my time at Caritas, it's "DON'T count the days MAKE the days count"..thats what I chose to do, not untill 10 months of being there, just after my cousin passed away as a result of this disease(Addiction)not the only reason though, also when I got HONEST with myself and SURRENDERED. YOUR job, is to save your own life and there's no better place to help you do that in my opinion Then Caritas Scool of Life. A very fitting name as you will learn alot about life there something you most likely don't know anything about right now if your reading this or maybe you do and just need some reminders.I know I certainly learned alot, I didn't realize that fully until I left after completing the 2 years. D	Devon Fisher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caritas saved my life 100%. It is just my opinion that they need to better mentally evaluate certain clients before admission to the program. I do believe it to be the best drug treatment facility in Canada, maybe not the best mental health program. Life changing none the less!!! ♡
s	snowflake melter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caritas staff has no idea what they are doing, the head office is more about money then recovery and they are very inexperienced to say the least. The program itself is really good if you apply yourself and ignore any garbage suggestions from head office. Lots of favouritism and if you speak out on how bad it is managed you are labeled a trouble maker. I would recommend Cam H over them anyday

None of the counsellors are trained in any such way regarding therapy or even addiction. However they are very good at making it look like they are some "amazing life changing organization".. parents, wives, family members and loved ones beware!!! There are many other treatment options out there just take your time searching.
