Carbert Waite LLP was founded in 1999 as a boutique firm focused on litigation. With additional expertise in fertility/surrogacy, estate planning and business law, we provide our clients with trusted insight and innovative solutions. We are skilled advocates with experience in a wide range of legal disputes. Our approach is always client centred and service minded.
With lawyers at all levels of experience, we are able to provide cost-effective legal services customized to meet the needs of the particular case. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time needed to understand our clients’ particular needs and goals and then set about to design a strategy to resolve the dispute as effectively and efficiently as possible.
At Carbert Waite LLP we have an entrepreneurial spirit and a flexible approach to the practice of law and our relationships with our clients. We are open to alternative billing arrangements based on clients’ needs.
We are also proud of our culture and approach to the practice of law. We believe in the value of working hard for our clients but also recognize the need for our lawyers and staff to have balance in their lives. We are a family oriented firm and enjoy each other’s company. We have flexible work arrangements and several part-time lawyers (partners and associates). It is lost legal opportunity to strategically manage a case or to give appropriate legal advice or professional legal opinion to lead to a better legal outcome or gain legal position. The Receptionist is quite lovely and I do not want to tar all of the lawyers at this law firm with the same brush. Like any organization, there’s performers and then there are under performers.

Joe was very professional and to the point with our correspondence, but also with just the right amount of friendliness. Alberta got the most dishonest legal system. That is why lawyers are ripping off people by thousands of dollars and going to court as got judges as nepotism and making cases as they please, nothing to do with following the law, everything is related to nepotism and connections.
