About Canmore Skating Pond

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pond is a great place to go for a skate while downtown. It is maintained around once or twice a week with a Zamboni which really helps keep the ice in a good condition. The pond is great for family outings or even a quick skate with some friends. Though playing hockey is quite hard, pucks get lost easily and you have the danger of hitting someone skating around. Overall a great place to go during the winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cute and romantic spot in Canmore! Love the little trail along this lake and the super cute gazebo.havent skated here but I bet it's super gorgeous when it ices over. Will try and make it back one day. Love Canmore. Yay. Also, lots of cute rabbits around and pretty wild animals. It's nice how close to the center of town this cute little spot is!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little skating pond in Canmore! It is quite small but still a nice place to skate. It has wonderful views of the mountains and has a nice little gazebo to sit underneath. A great place for families!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve had a few cracks and a little busy but amazing views. It was extremely cold the day I went but the gazebo had enough heat to keep me warm enough to tie my skates. My girlfriend is from Ontario and it was her dream to skate in the mountains and this definitely for filled her expectations.
