Lack of knowledge and professionalism

Friendly staff, there’s a mailbox outside and one at the counter. I was told that they collect around 5pm.

Sorry for other posts experience. We as well have been here for over a year and in general find this an unfriendly town. Asked for info at this post office and was told to call where we are moving to. Not exactly helpful and should have some knowledge of their job. Needless to say we have moved on and will never look back!!

One of the customer service reps today was SO RUDE, I was going to check my mail from our Po box, and the CS rep was telling me (with unfriendly tone) there was a lady before me waiting outside with her baby who wanted to come alone inside (but how do I know? theres no sign or anything to tell me otheriwise. I noticed the lady with the baby was outside but she was chatting with other people like she wasn’t even in line waiting so how do I know? I was about to take a step back out , but the postal worker said okay come in and grab your mail quickly. This was my first time picking up the mail as we just had moved in to town so I’t took a few minute to find the right box, and the lady was like ok out now quickly quickly QUICKLY with hand gesture like waiving me out like I’m some sort of farm animal or a dog, I stood still looking her in the eyes like she was unbelievable as I had my 3 year old daughter with me , and she also stood still; my daughter was probably thinking what was going on. I had difficulty calling my daughter to follow me out as she was afraid of the postal workers tone, and the lady became was even ruder saying quickly quickly quickly (with her RUDE tone) and I said “I was trying to get my daughter “ as I left my heart was broken. Im new to town, this is what I had to deal with. As a public service it is important to show a little act of kindness we never know what other people have been through we don’t need her attitude polluting this world that is already chaotic she might have had a bad day but please don’t pass on the negativity to others.

Hello. Just moved in town a week ago; I had to face a service corporation employee from Canada Post who not only has been very rude but who also discriminated me against my disability. I was not able to have a normal conversation with this woman, because she was patronizing and constantly offending me. I was shocked; I felt as if I came to her home uninvited and she did not really wanted me on her property. I am confident that I am not the only one who went trough this type of experience in that place. Why people do not take a stand? I will not let this matter to fly unclaimed.
