We ordered an elliptical with Canadian Tire and it was to be delivered by Canada Cartage. When it arrived, Canadian Tire had decided to deliver it themselves because they claim Canada Cartage has not been picking up any orders from their store. We rejected the delivery since we paid extra to have it moved to our basement and Canadian Tire wouldn't perform that service. A couple of days later, Canada Cartage shows up without scheduling the delivery, with a box so severely damaged that we can't even be sure all the parts are still in the box. We pull out two pieces and both are broken. Now we have to send it back. We are having a terrible experience with this shipping company and it could cost us a lot of money if this isn't resolved properly and our prices and shipping honoured. Very sloppy, I wosh we could deal with a different company, one that actually cares.

Sat around waiting for a delivery (order through Home Depot). Waited.....waited.......waited... No phone call no nothing. What a joke. Read other similar reviews about their punctuality. If all your doing is delivery services you would think you could perfect it. I mean, it ain’t rocket science, drive a truck from A to B according to a schedule that a 5 year old could develop......

By far the worst company to deal with!! We purchased appliances through Home Depot. Canada Cartage delivered each time they had to bring new appliances because some were damaged. When they got to my home they tried to hurry me along looking at the appliances after they were 3 hours late.Β  Telling me they had a long day. AND?? we all have long days!!! You were here doing a job you were hired and being paid to do. They damaged our brand new flooring and took no responsibility for it with the first delivery. The third time they came out they damaged our brand new cupboards. They stood in my home and blamed ME for the damage. They said " I told you I told you". They wanted my husband to get me to sign a waiver AFTER they damaged our cupboards. Sign a waiver making it ok to damage my home? I dont think so! Stood in my front yard and kept blaming me. To make things worse.. like it could get any worse right? They left my brand new fridge in my front yard for my husband and I to haul into the house. It was heavy!! We used a bed sheet and our son held the door open and daughter helped make sure the fridge wouldnt tip. We managed to get it into the house with no damage to the floor/door way or cupboards. What is their excuse? Worst company ever!!!! If I could we would give them ZERO stars. We have yet to hear back from Canada Cartage about the second claim made on the damage to our cupboards.. it will probably be denied too because well... THEY TOLD ME.

Another Home Depot delivery fail. If I could give a lower rating I would. I was told I would be contacted the day before my delivery to set up a time for the next day. The day came and went without a call, when I called to inquire they assured me I would receive a call the next day. The next morning at 8:40 am I received a call that appliances would arrive in 15 minutes rather than the next day (leaving me no time to empty the fridge and freezer or remove the appliances), "by the way are you supposed to be getting a range" he asked, I told him yes and he said "ok, well we don't have it" (no explanation why). I rushed to empty everything and was still working on it when the delivery team arrived, when they saw the old fridge was still in the house, they asked what I wanted to do with it, I said we would move it outside, he asked if I wanted them to do it and if so it would cost an additional 20.00 in CASH, there was no mention of this in the delivery terms, however, with no warning and 2/3 appliances (fridge/dishwasher) being dropped off in that moment I didn't have much of a choice as I couldn't move it alone and I didn't have the room to accommodate leaving it. I called to inquire the same day (January 27) regarding the missing range and was told that home depot could see the item had been shipped to the carrier but the carrier was reporting that they couldn't find it. I called every week on the status of the range. The response was always the same, Home Depot would put me on hold, call the carrier, carrier was "unavailable", they would send an email and I would receive a call back within 1 business day. Fast forward to March 1, I have yet to ever receive a call back, I've called every week since January 27th, today I was informed that the range has finally been located and that they would be in touch for delivery. I'll believe it when I see it and certainly won't be ordering appliances from this duo in the future. Edit: April 19. To no one’s surprise, I was never contacted about the delivery, when I finally said I’m not waiting any longer find a solution, I was told by Home Depot that the carrier finally responded they did not have it and a refund or re-order would need to occur. I now have a new delivery date of May 19. 6 months post order.

I had huge issues with a delivery. They just showed up without any notice and I wasn't home. Had to wait almost a week for them to reschedule. I also had to escalate my issue and spent way too much time on the phone dealing with it all.

During the delivery, the driver hit my staircase with the skid. In an attempt to clear the collision the driver lifted the skid and as a result lifted the staircase. I tried to get his attention during his maneuvering but he was slow to respond as he was wearing earphones. By the time I got his attention it was too late and now my staircase is wobbly and out of position. The driver tried to trick me into signing a waiver paper. At this point I was extremely upset with his behaviour/dishonesty and asked for his contact information. However, he ignored me and just took off. I have CCS File 32272 opened and I am NOT getting much response from Canada Cartage on what's going on with this claim. I've been sending multiple emails with no response from Jaime Torillos from the Claims department. This experience is unbelievable and I am loss for words.
