★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to see if I should take my daughter to the Hospital with a 103 degree fever and rudely said I can't give you advice over the phone? What?! You're a hospital and I wanna know if I should bring my 1.5 yo in. Terrible place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this hospital a few times in the last few months. I was hit by a truck in September, then I had a heart issue in October and then again in November. The last time I was in the hospital was in December for blood work. I will say that the last time everyone was professional and didn't have too many problems with getting blood drawn. I have a needle phobia and the young lady in the lab area did everything right to keep me calm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure anyone loves visiting a hospital but I saw a Dr Macklan I think his name is and he was very professional and got my eye issues elevated to the Peterborough clinic fast. Friendly staff doing their best .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate rating healthcare facilities. I know that the doctors and nurses work very hard, and they are understaffed. However, my son was rushed to this particular hospital after collapsing from back and stomach pain. The ambulance rushed him to Campbellford memorial hospital and we still waited over 6 hours for him to be seeing by a doctor. He had blood work and an ultrasound done, they requested for is to go back the next morning for another ultrasound etc…I’m glad that it wasn’t critical or he wouldn’t of made it. But, this place definitely needs more staff and restoration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A busy rural hospital, with high volumes and high acuity. However, I've always been impressed by the staff in the ER. They keep cool under the most stressful of circumstances. Kudos! I hope the public is patient when they come here knowing that they're dealing with very intense situation inside the ER which may contribute to longer wait times.
