P	Pam Thursfield on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We go every year with Junior Forest Wardens because of the beautiful land, awesome kitchen, and great group space. We love the long kitchen counter for serving and 3 ovens makes MYO Pizzas every year. The large space for crafts, and having most people able to sleep in the main building is ideal. Too bad already booked for other weekends that we would like to book, we are definitely not the only groups to love this camp :)
U	Unicuber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved it there. The activities are fun and include everyone. The cabins are clean and have a lot of space. The food is great and I love chapel every morning. A great place to learn more about God. Don’t worry about getting dirty, they have showers every other day. I will definitely go there next year. ?

Large commercial kitchen, good showers though the sulfur smell is strong.!Rooms sleep 8 or 10 in clean bunk beds. The cabins are very new, clean. The property is large with a good hiking/ snowshoeing trail, a large field and lots of woods for doing skills work. We’ve only been there in winter, but the summer activities look interesting, particularly the outdoor climbing wall.

T	Trevor Textor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great camp for HUGE groups. We attended a scouts weekend at the camp with 70 people and lots of room. Industrial sized kitchen handles everything. There is even high chairs! The lodge includes a room dedicated to first-aide. The water is well water which has a sulfur smell. The water in the kitchen however must be filtered since it doesn't smell and tastes great. Be sure to bring indoor shoes as the bottom floor of the main lodge is concrete. There is no internet or cell connectivity. I was able to send SMS text messages; They wouldn't send right away and would send as I moved to a magic spot around the facility. There is a detailed map of the facility on the Camp Valaqua website on the "Contact Us" page. "Jackpine Inn" had a lot of balls and hockey equipment for some pickup games of hockey.

That all changed this year as the board has decided to segregate and discriminate children based on Covid-19 vaccine status. To only admit those who have been injected with this ineffective, potentially dangerous, Emergency Use Authorized mystery ‘vaccine’ is truly unconscionable. Are injection-free children really a threat to the camp? No. The science has proven that the shot does nothing to prevent nor transmit Covid. This camp is not putting Jesus’ teachings first, sadly, and we will not be returning. We recommend Camp Evergreen, which is open to everyone.
