★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic camp right on Lake Scugog situated at the a distance from the hustle and bustle of the city it is a great place to make new friends and meet amazing humans. It is a great place to be. And it does great work to help and provide support to those of us who should and must be supported.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to an open house at the camp since it is down the road from our new home. We have seen camp activity on the Lake but not been on the grounds before. A charming very enthusiastic camp counsellor showed us around and gave us a good overview of the activities and the camp philosophy. I was quite impressed and definitely would consider sending a child there....except mine are grown up with kids of their own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a great camp and me and my kids have been going there for 7 years and my kids LOVE IT!!! My daughter was 4 and that was the very first time we went there. There are so many fun activities for the kids and moms! I love this camp, I have so many great memories there. The counsellors are so kind and nice and they are great with kids. And you escape the city life and get to relax. My kids cry of happiness when we are in the camp. We love it there. Its like one gigantic family of great people and they welcome you with arms open. I got to relax knowing that my kids are safe with great counsellors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been working at this camp for around 45 years and have enjoyed every minute. The staff are very caring and knowledgeable, through Dana’s training and her knowledge and experience.
The staff are very close to each other through years of bonding and who return year after year, often coming during high school and into college and university
Our campers are willing, for the most part, to participate in the many diverse programs offered. Those who don’t, either through their own choice or an inability to fit in with their group, will come up to my craft room where we will have one on one time, relaxing, either making something or playing games, during which we will talk out his issues.
On other days I will teach crafts or play games, including bocce, which they all seem to love.
During Mom’s camp, I teach them crafts as well. They have evening programs which I seldom attend, because I’m pretty tired by then, but when I do go I really enjoy myself
I started coming here in the sixties, mostly to get my children away from the city, and it sure didn’t take me long to get hooked. My kids have so many wonderful memories or those 16 years., when I was the camp nurse.
Ever since then camp has taken up a large part of my life. I. I love it, dream of it, and think of it, and spend all year collecting things and ideas to be put to use there. I talk of it constantly and am always promoting it, either for ideas, publicity or asking for funds. As you can see, I love, love, love it!
