J	Jenna D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn't want to leave!!! Camp Horizon is under new management and the new owners are amazing. The beds were so comfortable and everything was new.(bedding, pillows, sheets, comforter) You can tell they take pride in making sure the cottage is clean and sanitized. My husband stayed here, many summers, as a kid and now we are making family memories with our own children. The water is shallow and perfect for Littles to play in. 10 out of 10. We will be returning hopefully yearly!

It was very nice that each cottage had there own towels, and it was really great to have have a new bbq, and enjoy evening sunsets on your own privet dock. We will be back next year for sure. Definitely recommend this stay away from home (:
T	Tara Dinyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family (14 of us with nieces, nephews, etc.) just spent a week at Camp Horizon and it was amazing! The new owners (Tara & Dan) went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. The cabins were so clean and had almost all the amenities we needed for the week. Dan even helped my nephew when his fishing line got tangled (and I mean, really tangled). The on site tuck shop is really well stocked and was a great place for the kids to visit for a treat! The water was warm and we loved having a dock right at our cabin. Thanks so much to Dan & Tara for making this a week full of family memories for a lifetime...we can't wait to come back!!
S	Stephen Mollard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just spent a week at Beautiful Camp Horizon and had one of our best weeks away ever! This year's crew numbered 13 people, 4 Dads, 5 sons, and 4 friends. Tara and Dan made sure we had two cabins to fit us all and the cabins were perfect! They were all recently upgraded, brand new beds and everything works! We rented one of the pontoon boats for the week, fits 8 easily with fishing gear. The lake has a sandy bottom and a gradual drop in depth, perfect for the kids and the dog. We caught a bunch of small mouth, 5 pickerel, and one 5 lb small mouth! Awesome lake. Thanks Tara and Dan! See you next year!!

We had endless wildlife to observe including morning visits from a family of ducks, and chipmunks came to our fires. A spot for our future family vacations for sure! Love the sunsets over the water.
R	Rob Hargin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a year and 1/2 of lock downs and social distancing, Camp Horizon was just what our family needed. We were apprehensive at first hearing that the camp had gone downhill in the past few years, but once we arrived all our fears were put to rest. Dan and Tara have the Famous Northern Hospitality down to an art. Friendly, accommodating and professional at all opportunities. For first year owners, they are well on their way to bringing Camp Horizon back to it former glory. We caught Bass, Pike, Perch, Pickerel and the kids had no shortage of pan fish from the boat or the dock. The cottage was spacious and had almost everything we needed. And for the few items that were not there were not stocked in the cottage (an extra pot for a large family meal... we needed 2) were provided with a smile from Dan or Tara. Anything we needed was accommodated quickly and with kindness and charm. We are only 1/2 through our trip and we are already planning on return trips over the next many years and bring more family to fall in love with all that Camp Horizon offers. Great experience and couldn't recommend this place enough.
C	Caitlyn Brocker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the pleasure of visiting Camp Horizon again under the new management of Tara and Dan and let me tell you it was amazing! With a nice little sand beach and shallow waterfront for Littles, new beds, bedding and pillows we were able to have a nice relaxing getaway! They have a small boat launch and new docks and even fishing boat or pontoon rentals and we were able to get out on the lake for some fishing! The new owners Tara and Dan have worked incredibly hard to be where they are today and were more than happy to help with a smile if any questions came up or if you needed anything. It was also good to see that the bear baits were being done regularly! We are excited to make this a yearly family trip!
F	Fishing Urban Ontario on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great experience being there. 5/5 stars and I’d give 10/10 stars if it was an option. Dan and Tara, the new owners, were very friendly and considerate and easy going. This is a resort you are allowed to have fun at without weird polices and rules. For example, we asked them if we could light fireworks off of our dock over the lake, and they said no problem just make you aim them properly ?. Super people. The cabin we stayed in, the two story one was amazing. Very spacious and super clean. The boats were super fun and the fishing was a success as we caught many pike and small mouth and lots of trophy sized pumpkinseeds and perch and even a surprise walleye. Early morning on the lake is stunningly beautiful, as is the scenery of the area itself. I’ve been to other fishing resorts and this one had the most ideal and comfortable setup so far. The price was great too and because of that all of my buddies had no problem joining. This is a great place to stay and relax and spend your time would recommend to anymore.
