My wife and I are entrepreneurial, outdoor enthusiasts who have recently purchased the camp and are in the midst of rebuilding its fishing and hunting reputation! New Boats, Motors, Dock and a ton of youthful energy are creating a true sense of positive camp renewal! Cabin reconstruction beginning in 2018!
These are the amenities, that you as a client, will enjoy for years to come! We reside in rural Manitoba with our 3 young daughters who also enjoy camp life very much! Outfitting Whitetail Deer and Waterfowl Hunters on our 2000 acres of prime Manitoba woods habitat is another opportunity which we offer to our clients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got back from an absolutely amazing experience at Camp Esnagi! The owners and staff truly care about providing everything you need to enjoy your trip! Combine that with the best guide I've ever fished with in John Ross and you can't miss! If you are even remotely thinking about heading to Esnagi Lake or the Algoma Region I would recommend Camp Esnagi without a doubt. The Camp is centrally located on the lake allowing you to get to the best fishing in the North part of the lake quickly. We landed several 24 inch plus walleye and one 30 incher! When you go you owe it to yourself to definitely book at least one guide day with John Ross. He is a legend on the lake and is well worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I took a 7 hour train ride from Sudbury to get to this fishing camp. The owner and a few workers meet you with a barge and fishing boats to take you to the camp. We had a nice cabin with a fridge and 3 piece washroom. There were 3 bedrooms with 2 or 3 single beds in each one. Breakfast and dinners were prepared for you in the lodge. You can opt out of that. We were impressed with the hot meals. You had a choice of a sandwich or a shore lunch kit. The kit included utensils to cook onions and potatoes, plus the fish you caught in the morning or got them to fillet for you the night before and freeze overnight. We guesstimated that we caught 240 pike, walleye and white fish between the 2 of us. The lake is 27 mi long. The boats were great and had rod holders and 25 hp Yamama electric start motors. There was limited wifi near the lodge. You can book a guide if you need help. We were told he was very good. The owner, Paul was very friendly and helpful along with his 2 daughters Jessica and Laura that worked in the kitchen and at the dock area respectively. Highly recommend this camp if you are looking to catch a lot of fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there in Aug 2021. Besides the excellent fishing, the guiding service of John Ross was excellent. The docking/ room service/fish cleaning service provided by the staff was also excellent.
Under owner Paul's hands on leadership, Camp Esnagi is a must if you are looking for an overall excellent fishing/service experience.
We are booking soon for 2022.
