Beautiful view! Just walk the train tracks, eventually you will pass over 4 trestles before arriving at the last large trestle.

Nice "flat" walk. The trail is on the old railroad tracks (can be hard on knees and hips). It goes over a couple of bridges in various states of deterioration and rot (watch your step). Certain areas are overgrown with shrubbery (about an hour into the walk from the Qualicum side parking lot). Decent view points. Lots of railroad spikes to be had as souvenirs. Overall, it's a 3/5 walk. I would only do this if you are bored and have done other hikes /walks in the area.

Amazing views from this short hike. Go all the way to the 5th tressel, its worth it!

A ~20-30 minute hike along the railroad track from the Cameron Lake Lodge will bring you to this gorgeous trestle with panoramic views of Cameron Lake. There are planks missing from the trestle so use caution when crossing

This is a really great walk. Takes an hour and change to get out to the big trestle from the east (whiskey creek side). Be aware that if you do decide to come from the east there is no trail and you'll be on the tracks the whole time. The railway is technically still active so make sure you're paying attention. Cathedral Grove way has a proper trail but there are still parts where you have to walk on the tracks.

Moderately easy walk to the trestle from the east side of Cameron lake. It is about 3 km (6km+ round trip) and flat. Parts of the track are overgrown with broom and known to have ticks (thankfully we didn’t see any). The trestle itself is cool but a bit sketchy as many sections have deteriorated. Overall a nice adventure!

Great walk along the tracks with great views of the lakes. A popular photo spot in the fall. The trestle it self is a bit sketchy so if you have small children I would recommend not taking them across. Still a solid walk even if you stop at the Trestle.

Absolutely great hike! Flat and a bit grown in. Walking on the old train tracks. Two hours round trip, 7.9 kms. Included a little walk down to the water below the big trestle. Amazing views. Watch your step, there are holes on the trestle, but mostly in good condition.
