★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je viens de decouvrir un fruit unique par sa saveur. Son seul bemol, on ne peut pas le garder frais plusieurs jours. Il faut le preparer asap (soit congeler, soit en confiture).
I have just discovered a unique fruit by its flavor. The only downside is that you can't keep it fresh for several days. It must be prepared asap (either freeze or in jam).

Great place to pick your own and buy at the kiosk. Their camerises are real little gems. The owners are very welcoming!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am giving 2 starts because the berries were delicious, but the service was truly disappointing.
We arrived on the last day of the season, the women at the reception was nice and told us that there are no special precautions except social distancing (which was odd because they require everyone to collect berries from one specific row, and there was a large group of at least 10 people without social distancing whatsoever).
As we were picking the camerise and moving closer to the larger group, a staff member followed us and told us that we need to respect social distancing (while completely disregarding the large gathering aside), he kept following & supervising us (which really ruins the experience when someone stands near you and watches your every move), and when he noticed that I picked a berry to eat, he told us to stop eating the berries and ‘respect the rules, because essentially, here – vous etes les invités’. Nor the website or the reception mentioned anything not being able to eat while collecting (he rationalized it as due to covid, but people touch the camerise with their hands, I don’t lick the berry and put it back on the bush….) , not only he was extremely rude and supervised us like children, we felt PICKED ON as he never mentioned anything about social distancing or the berry consumptions to the groups near us. Also to mention, that regardless of COVID, they accept cash, and don’t have paper for you to close the faucet lever after you wash your hands, so you basically you touch the same lever that everyone before you, touched too – both are not a huge deal really, but where are the precautions here?
I feel like our experience was ruined by the male staff and we ended up leaving right after he made his comment. I may have enjoyed the camerise at home but I won’t come back to that specific place.
