About Calgary Tower

Located 191 metres above the downtown core, the Calgary Tower offers the best view in the city and is a must-see on any visitor's itinerary. On the Observation Deck you'll experience a spectacular 360° view of the bustling city, the majestic Rocky Mountains, the foothills, and the prairies.

Originally named the Husky Tower, the Calgary Tower was constructed as a joint venture between Marathon Realty and Husky Oil to honour Canada’s centennial and promote the downtown core as a part of a Calgary urban renewal program. Today the Tower is a major tourist destination and popular dining spot. Though it is has been eclipsed in size, the Tower is still a proud city icon.

J	Jennifer Miller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent views from the restaurant. We were there before sundown, so we got to see the sights in daylight and at night. Food is average and quite pricey, but the staff are wonderful. Would still recommend for the rotating restaurant. Good selection in the gift shop. Observation deck offers information about the surrounding towers. Glass floor lookout is a nice feature.
b	beybechez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with family when they came by. The view is nice. But I wouldn't say "breath-taking"... there's not much to do there except take some pictures. If it wasn't for family members wanting to check it out, I wouldn't go. It's a great place to check out once, just to say you have been there and take some pictures, but other than that, too expensive and there are probably better spots in the city for free with great views.

It was nice to see as the city doesn’t have a lot of activities to do especially during the winter and even during the weekday. The mountains weren’t as visible the day I went. Would recommend if you’re visiting Calgary for the first time but that’s all. Can’t compare to CN Tower.
H	Hannah Donaldson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tower is definitely a worth while experience. I have gone up three times and it was fun, though there is not a lot to it. If you don't mind heights, you can stand on the glass floor or walk around the building and enjoy the incredible 360° views.

It has paid parking space nearby and entry tickets are available at counter in gift shop and online as well. At the observation deck you will also find a theater room, restroom and drinking water.

Because after purchasing online you might not be receiving confirmation message due to server detect lead some hassle on checking nonetheless. So better just go and buy your tickets accordingly. You can take some drinks/ snacks with you in case the skydeck restaurant is closed. A particularly sophisticated trip to this birds eye view!

From the top floor, we have a 360-degree view of the city. We can also see the nearest towering skyscraper. From the gallery, this is such a lovely scene. I would advise others to go see this tower.
