Calgary Academy Parents Association
CAPA is an organization of parents and members of the broader community who raise money to fund tuition bursaries for children with specialized learning needs. Members of CAPA volunteer and participate in fundraising programs such as selling 50/50 raffle tickets, bingo and casino events. These bursaries support families of children with specialized learning needs to receive financial assistance towards specialized education tuition. CAPA funding also contributes towards the purchase equipment used in providing specialized education.
Since 1986, CAPA is a volunteer-run and established charity raising more than $5 million to help children with specialized learning needs whose family demonstrates financial need.
