B	Bill Bowerman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK, so as far as I can tell, the municipality has held up the finalization of the septic completion, even though the infrastructure is complete and in place. The fact that the owners (Jen & Sylvain) go out of their way to honor the services, including on-site pump-out when required, nullified the fact you can’t currently connect to the sewer connection. The obvious upgrades and new installation of that, as well as brand new hydro and water infrastructure, make your stay more comfortable than many other campgrounds out there, that don’t even offer these services. The campground is extremely well managed and the entire staff are beyond kind and helpful. The location is prime, with a great little beach, close to town requirements, such as gas, groceries, lcbo, etc and most important to us, the location to the trails and adventure places you come for. The new campsites are exceptional, and although we didn’t use, the service-less tent sites, are nicer than any we’ve encountered. There are clean and new public washrooms and shower facilities, if you choose to take advantage of them. Management is very intent on ensuring you have a wonderful stay and a good time, however they ensure you keep things to minimal after 11PM to respect noise levels for others around you. You can keep a fire lit well after, but music and noise levels must drop. I see some gripes about the sewer connection, but seeing it is out of their current control and has been addressed, I’d recommend without hesitation…great spot for off-roader enthusiasts and family getaways!

It currently does NOT have three services if you’re in the newer section. This is our second time at this park and both times we were misled. The first time was in 2020 - instead of three services we only had water hookup. We were given a generator for power (which resulted in three days of listening to a motor run) and a daily pump out service that took hours for someone to arrive. This year, I specifically asked about water, hydro and sewer. I was assured that there was all three, but no - this year we had water and hydro, but still no sewer. With six people in the trailer, the tanks fill up fast, and with limited staff it once again took hours for someone to show up. We even had to go back to the office to remind them. Extremely disappointing. If the owner had been honest, we would have booked elsewhere. We likely won’t be going back on principal. Sylvain, if you’re reading this, start being honest with people. You could have easily been given a five star rating if you hadn’t lied… twice!
H	Hildebran Delgado on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been going back for the last 3 summers and every time it's been a wonderful and relaxing experience. The staff are amazing, polite and very helpful. Our kids always love the atmosphere of the park lol he staff always have event for the kids and the seasonal campers are always welcoming. After this years trips we've decided to get a seasonal site for next year we've made so meany wonderful friends and would like to make Calabogie lakeside our home away from home .

Many campgrounds seem to have seasonal campers who are not at all welcoming to weekenders but this place was quite the opposite! We have already booked for summer 2022 and can not wait. :)
N	Noreen Desforge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked at the last minute for the weekend and had an excellent stay. Live band on Saturday nights for those who wanted to enjoy music. Beach and playground areas for the kids. Although many reviews state no sewer hookups, they will come to your site and pump for no charge. They are waiting for approval, so they do have sewer, just not all cleared to use yet. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Wood is decent, very dry, great gor campfires and offered in 2 different quantities. Will be going to visit again!
J	John McMillan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful staff, laid back environment and nice little beach made for a perfect headquarters between trail rides! Trails start right at the end of the campground driveway, perfect spot for off road enthusiasts. The only word of warning for the campground is make sure you bring some shade (tarp/awning/umbrella) with you as some of the sites are not well shaded. No big deal with an awning but best to be prepared!
D	Dave Bricker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice camp ground with average sized translate sites. Owners are very friendly and will do what they can to make your stay enjoyable from what I have seen. Delivered fire wood to our site and even pulled it under the trailer. They have added to the camp in the last three years I understand and don't have the septic lines all hooked up as things all take time. But you just let them know your black tank is getting full and they will come pump it out for you. They still have some things to finish but that is normal for any business that is growing. We have been here only a couple days of our week vacation and we are very happy we have chosen this camp to stay in. Nice beach and water access.

There was a mix up with my reservation this weekend and the owner was very eager to fix things. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this campground. It is also in a beautiful location, very close to the hiking trails and the water.
